- Rob and I share about an exciting phone call we received from our agency. We also share how amazing & difficult our adoption process has been and how we have chosen to work through it together.
I just found your adoption journey. Thanks for sharing. We've been waiting for almost 2 years with our agency and we've had three failed matches. I totally understand trying to prepare but not prepare too much and an unused nursery for over a year. So glad you have your Ethel now. What a treasure! You guys give us hope. Thanks again for sharing such hard things. We are trying to do the same to encourage others in the adoption journey.
Wow, thank you so much for reaching out!! Ugh, the journey is hard, isn’t it?! The waiting game ca be such a struggle, and it’s hard not knowing how much to prepare or not to. My heart hurt for you as i watched this. It will be soo exciting on that perfect day when you get to bring home the perfect baby that god has created for YOUR family! I prayed for some encouraging words for you and 1Samuel 2:4 just popped in my head, i dont know what it means but hopefully it means something to you!😊
Wow THANK YOU!! We so appreciate all the love and prayers. Yes!...we are believing in Gods perfect timing and trusting that He has the right baby and birth family for us, just as we are for them. I just looked up 1sam 2:4 "The bows of the warriors are broken, but those who stumbled are armed with strength.” God carries us even when we feel broken and discouraged. It’s in His strength, not our own. Yes!!!
