Wow thanks for the great summary of atmos on studio one, and specially the tips for handling the Lfe channel

Is the "Masterbus" post renderer? How do you set up metering?

I am asking becasue If the "Master" is pre-renderer then the metering plugins will not account for the "object channels".

The processing on the master bus is pre-rendering: which makes processing as a whole possible. The meters in the renderer window show the bed channels, but the level metering takes the objects into account. Similar as to how it would work with the external Dolby renderer.

In logic & Cubase, you can put your metering processors after the render, so it takes into account the objects, and in ProTools you could use aux I/O to route a re-render to a dedicated track for metering.
I love studio one, and I was excited for this. But I use third-party metering for frequency and phase but just loudness…
I want to still be able to use it :(

@@nunyabizfam106 I havent personally tested this, but you should be able to route this from the “post” section of the master bus. Depending on the type of metering you use ofcourse

@@JHXStudios Fair enough. Thank you. The Dedicated renderer supports head-tracking when using binaural, can you do that with the studio one version?

My LFE channel is off and there is option to engage it 😢

Try muting and unmuting the LFE on the surround panner. That should fix it. It usually happens after closing and opening a session. On some systems this happens and it will be fixed in the maintenance update any day now.
