I think arteta has done an amazing job at our club and i think he is the right man to take us forward. But one criticism i have got for him is the way we have thrown the cup competitions away in the past 4 seasons. Winning trophies breeds confidence. Even if we would've won a carabao cup or an fa cup this season it would've given us something to joy that we've won something. Winning cup competitions is more easier than league imo especially when the league has pep guardiola as manager. You have to say even though we were better in league than other 18 teams but at least liverpool won the carabao cup which adds to trophy cabinet. That's why what i want next season from mikel is to take cup competitions seriously and win it and go for all 4 competitions strongly. Winners never focus on winning only one prize they want to win everything out there. That should be the mentality we should have as a club

Big up Curtis and the Community for another brilliant stream 100k , if we are able to get 2 quality centre midfielders then fine move on Partey but to be honest I would keep him as 4th choice. Regarding the manager, I believe he should be moved on now. £650 million, 8th,8th,5th,2nd,2nd isn't good enough. He routinely shows his inexperience, we are allowing him a free trial at one of the biggest clubs in England, we have turned into what we used to laugh at Spurs for (we are the Red Spurs). Alright cool are we going in the right direction yes but it doesn't matter in the end if you don't win trophies, we haven't won a trophy in 4 seasons. I would go for Inzaghi or someone like that who can come and get us over the line. We will be having the same conversation next season about giving him another go when we haven't won a trophy again. Look at some of the names City are linked to and with Madrid getting Mbappe and potentially Davies the UCL and PL is looking tough. We need to win the FA and Carabao Cup because they are trophies regardless if they are the big ones or not. If Alonso (who is from the exact same Basque Region of Spain as Arteta!!) can win a Top Flight Title with a far less prestigious Club, with nothing even remotely comparable to the resources of a Gargantuan Sporting Institution like THE ARSENAL, THEN WHAT IS ARTETA'S EXCUSE FOR ONLY WINNING 1 FA CUP IN 4 & A HALF YEARS IN CHARGE EH??? 😙😙😙
For sure HUGE QUESTION MARKS need to be asked about the quality of our Team >> Squad overall....but let's not forget people WHO picked these players to play for Arsenal > who trains/coaches >> manages them; who selects our Team for every game > determines our tactical formation > approach, etc....
Remember when Arteta played Partey as a Right Back, and dropped Gabriel for the first few games of the season!...Think how much this crazy decision may have contributed to Partey missing the vast majority of the season coz of injury! WHY OVERLOAD A PLAYER WHO WAS ALREADY INJURY PRONE?? 😙😙
Think also about Arteta's decision to play Havertz in Central Midfield instead of J20 - who is a specialist there by trade for the first half of the season.....HOW MANY POINTS DID THIS COST US??? 😙😙😙
Then of course there is the matter of Arteta's failure to make pro-active substitutions, or indeed make the RIGHT ones for specific match situations!!
WHY was ESR - who had been one of our best players 2 seasons earlier almost frozen out completely???
WHY was Eddie given priority for the first half of the season as our main striker - when Jesus was injured - over Havertz: who was/is more proven at the Top Level in this area??? 😙
I DO NOT WANNA HEAR ANY MORE LAME EXCUSES AS TO WHY WE HAVEN'T WON THE TITLE, OR TROPHIES!!!....EXCUSES ARE ONLY FOR LOSERS!!!
EITHER ARTETA DELIVERS US THE TITLE NEXT SEASON, OR WE SACK HIM, AND BRING IN A NEW MANAGER WHO CAN!!!

Curtis. if predicting when we would win things is possible, then changing manager would be easy. What we lack is patience. We might win or we might not. We all need to know winning is not a right. I believe we are on the right path and patience is the only way. Remember we all want to win but that is it. Sometimes we just need to accept the reality and move forward with hope.

Arteta just doesn't have the minerals to win competition, he's blinded by favoritism. Look at Pep, Grealush spends a lot of time on the bench despite his $105M price tag. That what it takes. Hard-core decisions. Be proactive with his substitutions and have the killer instincts.

Big up Big C, Lil C and the C Unit Community.
Firstly, I hope Kevin Campbell has a speedy recovery and hope he gets back to full health.
Secondly, I'm disappointed and gutted on one hand and from the other hand I'm happy with the progress we've made. It wasn't a successful season as we didn't win anything but when you take into consideration how we ended last season to how we've ended this season, then the best defence and attack etc, we've definitely progressed.
If i have to be critical, I'd say it comes down to the dropped points around Christmas as well as the dropped points vs Villa and Fulham. Football has evolved so much over the years and as easy it is to compare the old Arsenal to the new Arsenal, I think you need to appreciate times have changed. It's very slim margins vs a quality City side with the best manager in the world. It's frustrating but we need to take it on the chin (No Diddy) and look forward to the summer, who we bring in then next season we go again.
I've had my frustrating with Arteta at times but I do feel like he is the best man for the job. It's his team, I don't know who we can get to replace him and there is always the risk of if we did replace him the new manager will want to change things again and bring in their own players.
Basically what I'm trying to say Big C is, it's not time for the 'Meet the Artetas' diss track! 😂

The only thing I would say is that winning a trophy and the club being in a great state are not mutually exclusive. For example, if Man United win the FA Cup, there’s an argument that they’ve had a better season than Arsenal because they won silverware. However be honest, would you rather have an entire season of frustration and pain watching your club playing poorly but then have one day of being happy because you won an FA cup, or would you rather have an entire season watching exciting and excellent football, pushing the title race all the way to the final day? Football is more than just the trophy you may or may not win at the end of a season, it affects your mood and attitude week in week out.

Not "why are we not winning trophies?"
They are almost the same question but 1 has a positive bias, the other has a negative 'lack' focus in its frame of reference.

Arsenal can only compete as long as Arteta does not have too many games to deal with each season. He is clever enough to not take domestic competitions seriously knowing the squad does not have the potential to perform on the same level as Man City and other top flight teams. Arteta also places a lot of faith in players who will make many mistakes along the way to becoming an above average player. Arteta is unable to bring in players beyond a level of Premier League quality, which is why the team was unable to perform against Porto and Bayern Munich by showing anything exceptional. Very soon the team will have to make new contracts, which might mean losing key players while many others that are average are also on premium rate wages that they are unlikely to get at other clubs.

Our team hasn’t been good enough, that’s why we haven’t won trophies. We can have parts of our team that are good enough though and that includes Arteta, he’s doing a lot of things right while parts of our team are consistently not showing the level, the manager is year on year addressing problem areas and we will win something down the line.
The quality of City has been that good that’s it’s been tough for others to have any success but Arsenal are really close now, this summer is the one where we need to get that quality where Arteta trusts a lot of his bench. Can’t have players like Nketiah, Nelson, Vieira, Smith Rowe, Elneny, Cedric who he’s hesitant to use. Some of them he gave new contracts but I see them as stop gaps when we had more important areas to address. We can upgrade on them now.

I havent watched the video, i'll get that out the way. But never in my life did I think we'd have a manager end on 89 goddamn points, improving upon last season, and fans would then ask "Is he the right manager". Who are you getting instead that is going to perform better? Pep? Ancelotti? Perhaps you'd like to flip flop back to Emery now since he's got a better proven record in cup competitions. I can guarantee if Arteta had won a couple more domestic cups and finished third the narrative would be "we want more than those smaller cups, we want to challenge for the league". It's moronic to complain whilst we are still improving and getting so close. The entitlement absolutely stinks.

Whether we like it or not he's the best there is and he's in a club that can back him financially. This is Arteta's first managerial job and he's already going toe to toe with the best manager in football history. How many more signs do we need to see that Arteta definitely has the tools to become the world class manager Arsenal has been waiting for? He will either become world class at Arsenal or elsewhere and I'd rather it be at Arsenal.
