    I liked the fact that you did an image of what the quilt would look like put together with the 3 fabrics you have chosen such as you did with Raspberry Parfait , Stepping up pattern .

    Great video. It would be great if you could show an image every time with the new fabrics. Sometimes it's tough to go from what the actual quilt is to envision what the new quilt kit would look like. Thank you.

    I just had my boys move my sewing room downstairs. I found two matching taupe fabrics. I can’t decided these two would make a nice quilt. Maybe I’ll run up to my fabric store and look.

    It's just about wedding season, and I love to make wedding quilts. I ask the couple what colors they want and 90% of the time they want a blue and white quilt. Would you please create a video showcasing blue and white quilts and which of your patterns would be best for this color pallet?

      Hey Bizeebee, thanks for watching and for your feedback! A "Wedding Quilts" video would be a great idea! We will for sure put this on the agenda 😊

    So so love the bright fabrics. I, too, look forward to your Tuesday and Thursday afternoon video shows. One thing I missed on this show was the pic of the alternate pattern suggestion. If I don't have the particular book pattern you are featuring, seeing the alternate choice really helps visualize the quilt. Thanks for all your entire staff does for us crazy quilters!

      Thank you Deborah, so glad you enjoy the show and spend time with us every week! 😊 We are working on adjusting some of our information displayed, the alternate pattern name is what is currently shown but not the photo. We'll try and find the right balance! Thanks for letting us know 💛

    Any chance you can do a show on simple quilting patterns for the quilts. I am still working on learnin free motion quilting. I currently only do stitch in the ditch - because I don't know what else to do.
    I also like seeing images of the fabrics you show. Have all your books & really enjoy the fact that you don't use precuts.

      Hi Sarah, In our videos, we focus on piecing and block construction, with emphasis on how to coordinate fabric. There are many videos on how to do free motion quilting. Just try a search to find them. Donna

    I like both the floral and bright fabrics but I think I would pick the bright fabric first for myself. Love your videos. Do have a suggestion: put enlargement instructions on your single patterns as you do on patterns in your books. Thanks.

    I love your quilts and really want to make some (more than one). Everyday I tune into what you've done and the materials are beautiful. How much is your 3 yards and your book?

    • @FabricCafe
      @FabricCafe  Před 2 lety

      Hi Denise! So glad that you like our show and our quilts! Our 3-Yard Quilt kits vary in price, but most are price at $36. You get 3-yards of fabric and a free pattern in that kit. Our 3-Yard Quilt books are $15.99 and include 8 patterns and instruction to make them bigger! If you purchase 3 quilt kits then you can choose to get a book free! Right now we are running a sale with 10% off, so you can check our website at www.fabriccafe.com and see if there is something you like, or you can give us a call 903-509-5999 and we'd be happy to help!

    Is there an available program to use to "preview" fabric combos, like what you did with Raspberry parfait? I struggle with that. I just made one of your quilts and I love it, but would have switched the border colors if I'd thought about it or had a chance to audition it before I cut.

    • @FabricCafe
      @FabricCafe  Před 2 lety

      Hi Marianne, we use the "Electric Quilt 8" program for all of our quilt renderings. Unfortunately it takes a bit to get setup, but you can find the program at the following link and see if its something you can use - electricquilt.com/online-shop/electric-quilt-8/

      @@FabricCafe thanks! I'll check with them and see if there's an EQ lite. Don't need big time design elements (yet) but simply to put prints and colors together.... or will put it on my Christmas list LOL. One more question...if I want to make my borders with your patterns without piecing...is there any trick to refiguring the amount of fabric and cutting diagrams?

    • @FabricCafe
      @FabricCafe  Před 2 lety

      @@mariannecamous3472 Because fabric is only 42/44 inches wide, it is almost impossible to make a border without piecing. Some quilters look for fabrics specifically make with border fabric printed with the length of the bolt. you would want to measure the longest side of the quilt and buy at least that much of this type fabrics.

    Beautiful fabrics. Is there a reason you don't mention the brands of the fabrics? Is it a time factor?

    • @FabricCafe
      @FabricCafe  Před 2 lety

      Hi Cindy! We mention them from time to time but usually don't for every kit for time and memory sake. But if you ever would like to know a specific fabric brand we can share that info with you 😊

    I have made quilts with your patterns but am curious of it is possible to combine patterns to make one quilt?

    • @FabricCafe
      @FabricCafe  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Suzanne! Wow what a question! Technically it's possible. If the blocks are the same size you could use them together. It would no longer be a 3-yard quilt and you may need extra fabric. It could be done with some math and planning. Let us know if you give it a try!
