The detached bicep in the lead up to the fight was a massive disadvantage to Eddie, but I will say you could clearly see Thor getting better in the months prior to the fight , I think the result would have been the same but much closer without the injury

People say that now but at the time they felt Ngannou was going to end Joshua’s career.He wasn’t as bad as all that.He did make at least one aggressive lunge at Joshua and threatened to let his hands go.But Joshua was having none of it and immediately tied him up.He was going to give him the chance to turn on his speed and use his power.I saw a few clips from that fight recently and Ngannou was fighting harder than I remember, and having more success than I remember.
This is why I don't powerlift, just use light weights and long sets.
