Mr.Smelly1977, I really really enjoyed that interactive video between you and Kelan. I do enjoy watching both your channels on my CZcams tv. Kelan's style and taste I really enjoy. His top 5 vintages on this video I've all smelled before and as of now I have a 30ml bottle of Wall Street which is very hard to find(avid vintage collector here.. Lols).
Truly smells like a bullish wall street broker all dressed up in a Tom Ford suit and tie.
Reason why I enjoy Kelan is that he's not the foodie sweet kind of cologne dude and he's not easily turned by hype.

Finally, Kelan is getting the attention he deserves. That guy is a great reviewer hands down, his fragrance taste is almost the same as mine, except I love grey flannel and fahrenheit and he doesn't. Lol. Almost most of my classics were bought blindly because of his reviews. Keep it up, Kelan!

Kelan's awesome. Nailed it with Tsar. I have the clear bottle version and it's still in my top 5 green scents ever made. Tacchini actually came out with a new one not long ago called Your Match, officially hailing the start of the brand's modernization. Haven't tried it myself but it looks to be your standard citrus-woods with a touch of spice. Might be one to check out. I kinda dig the bottle design.
Hi Dan, you talked about the fragrance reviewers turning silly or boring, but that format will stand the test of time for sure... And you're a great interviewer : you let your guests develop their ideas and you know when to bring them on subject again. You're really bringing a new, very interesting flavour to the whole world of frag reviews imho !

I don't know what it is but the tune you use at the beginning of your videos reminds me of the "tales of the unexpected" theme tune..it has that "trying to be classy" in the 1980s vibe to it

Kelan has a great channel I have learned tons watching it.
The transparent ribbed bottle of Tsar was the middle formulation 1999 to 2007 made under Gucci. It was not as good as the original or the last formulation. The darker green bottle under InterParfums was the last version which was closer in smell to the real vintage Tsar. The vintage Tsar 1989 to 1999 comes in an opaque bottle and was made by Sanofi (up to 1995) and Adipar (1995 to 1999). Great video and interview!

What have you found to be the shelf life of the deeper scented fragrances? I would imagine the "vintage" bottles older than 20 years have gone off. I dug out an old bottle of Polo - from the 80s and it was off. I know storage can help extend but massive fragrance collections are bound to spoil unlee you go through them within 5-10 years. Thoughts?

@@ScentsOfSouthJersey I wear Kouros at the gym sometimes, lightly applied, I have a vintage tester and a L'oreal version, the vintage smells sweeter somehow and more natural, surprisingly though the 2017 batch that I have is very good too. Kouros alone holds the 80s era in its shoulders, such a virile and iconic fragrance by Pierre Bourdon, a top notch perfumer! So much respect for everyone who appreciates and wears Kouros.

Caesar's played host to many classic boxing matches but phased that out a couple decades ago. I saw Tyson-Ruddock I next door at the Mirage before they closed down their outdoor boxing area to build the new home for Sigfried and Roy...now also defunct. Evel Knievel jumped the fountain at Caesar's in the 70s as well.
