It’s been at least 10 years since I’ve been in North Carolina but I got tears remembering the school spirit town can here on game night. Cheer loud and proud and know being part of anything in college is better than nothing. Your fraternities are symbols of excellence, don’t let bad moods and vibes sour any part of this season.. There were some college students back in the day that lived down the street from me and they talked about zeta phi beta and did one of their struts. Us young kids liked the vibes and started learning the words and steps along with the beats and movements. It was fun.
The sad part is that the majority of them do go to church. Eager to express they believe in God and born again. I know Pastors who proudly advocate their affiliation with Frats and Sororities. It's ignorance. It's not a lack of love for the Lord. It's just pure ignorance as to what they are linked to in these Frats. Lots of pride and arrogance wrapped up in ignorance of the TRUTH.

I have however seen other videos where school sporting events like basketball or a footy game has just such an amazing atmosphere with cheer squads and the crowd really amped up and it looks awesome. The closest we have is when we have pre game war cries from Indigenous and Pacific Islander teams. It’s electric and to be honest it’s hard not to feel intimidated when you’re facing off with a bunch of giant Pacific Islanders doing a Haka metres away from you before you play them.
