- Beautiful! Cadgwith is a quaint fishing village in the tip of Cornwall. It was rainy and windy, however it remains magical and insanely beautiful. We are quite lucky to witness thatchers replacing the roof of one of the cottages, we learned that thatched roof near the sea can last more than the thatched roofs in country side, this is due to more airflow resulting thatched roofs in seaside are not prone to moisture.
We also tried the seafood in Cadgwith Cove Crab , it was amazing the taste is so fresh especially the mussels. My gosh this country never stopped to amaze me when it comes to history, nature and preservation.
