I totally, absolutely agree with your favourite intro, it is so sick that I even think not even today's NFS can compare it. Plus, any other canyon intro are so, so wicked.
Race Introduction scenes are so underrated these days. What better way to wind up your audience than sparking tensions?

I love that pre-race 1 vs 3 intro, when the protagonist warms up the tires before the race with their lovely whistle (3:55)
The best thing is that this intro can be seen before the race around the city. It is enough that there are 4 participants in the race

4:04 Fun fact: The Canyon Race Intros were used in NFS Carbon for PS2 and Gamecube when Street Race Starts.
One thing about need for speed bosses, actors try so hard to look like badasses, yet anyone could bitch slap them and take the keys...
3:17 I've always seen this intro as Wolf showcasing the Aston Martin's engine noise. My dad once owned a 90's BMW, and during daily use, he never went past the 3rd gear because how powerful the car is, and still didn't sound like the car was running. Most cars would need to upshift to reduce the RPM to have the same effect; Wolf probably didn't even need to upshift to make his car silent.
At 3:18 i always thought it was a real wolf sound..

I really like these intros! Ive been searching for a conpilation of them. Do you think that you will make other videos like that(eg:NFSU,NFSU2,NFSMW) or this was just a one-off? Also you forgot one scene that can only be activated when you are against 1 opponent in quick race.😜
I have Underground and Most Wanted (2005) still installed. I could do those.
I think someone else mentioned the 1v1 as well. This was all from my single story mode playthrough with beep so it didn't have the quick race.

There's just one intro missing.
Namely, for 1v1 races where the player pulls up alongside the opponent, who revs their engine and spins their wheels.

Kenji had a perfect smile on the face when he looked over to the Player at their race. Angie gave them a nice kiss, and a smile, even though she was really angry at the player during their territory battles in the Kempton areas, and Wolf was just "Lone Wolf" keeping himself focused.

Black with nothing else. No vinyl or carbon fiber.

Pardon me if I'm wrong, but you forgor at least one intro, while selecting a single opponent in quick race you get a specific intro too.
Ey, just so you know, the Improvement Mod fixes the positions of everyone for Race Wars (as they all start too far from the camera).
Also, goodness me, half of the visual effects in the game are connected with the motion blur.
The camera is only "too far" for the PC and PS3 version. The XBox 360 version has 8 additional oppents, which is why the camera is so far back.
