Assuming that the ride from Rockport to Palmont is months away, there could have been someone who replaced the protag as the most wanted racer, rendering the protag to lose some bounty since he wasn't that relevant anymore.

I feel like I'm the only person who genuinely liked Neville the most out of all characters. He's a cool guy, and his voicelines while he's your wingman are always so fun and encouraging.
I just enjoy characters like him: not over the top edgy or serious, just a fun guy you wish you could talk to in real life.

He tried to continue the plot, but EA said, that there is no chance he could make a story for the game third time in a row, because they wanted to give "new guys" a chance to write something different.
After that, Lansky wrote a book and asked the EA, if he could sell it as their product, but still, they were stubborn and didn't want to do it saying: "Your story is over. There will be no continuations of it and besides... we don't sell books, only games".
Eventually he released 1000 copies of the book with the help of "Black Box" company. EA soon took it down because of the copyright stuff. Of course they didn't have a clue, that "Black Box" helped him with this event... ;p

Ricers- It's not limited to tuners and imports, but basically any car, with all these weird body kits and other cosmetic changes just to make them look like they're custom or anything, but is mostly done for heavily altering the appearance of the car, sometimes even transforming it into another to fool others. Like in this video, look at the player's Aston Martin right after he beat Wolf, it's as riced as hell. They say with ricers, their cars are often all show and no go.

Well, they're probably the FBI and State Patrol Police(one of the high ranks of the police department) because according to the situation in the nfs cities, street racing is a powerful organized crime and it's not just a regular misfit crime. That's why you got the Speed Enforcement responders that uses super cars in their department.
(Hell, the street racers in the nfs cities racked up bounties to over 100,000 to over a 1,000,000 by just using a car, so you can see how reasonable higher up police, even SWATS, will get involved in situations like that)

Same here brother. From the first time I played having a huge difficulty not being able to use the slow motion on the canyon races to now not able to count how many times I’ve beaten the game. Was one of a kind. Like a first love in a way.
I'm telling ya, what they should have done was BEFORE you raced Darius, your crew calls you to the garage, to give you back your M3 GTR that they fixed. THAT would have been the proper way for this game to end but whatever.

This is crazy man. These 2 games (MW 2005 & Carbon) storyline is even more interesting than any racing movies I have ever watched. MW 2005 & Carbon has the best storyline, among all the NFSs. I really wish they would continue this storyline, although it's like nearly impossible.

@trashbag23 actually Criterion did try to do that with MW12, continuing the legendary story. Unfortunately, EA did not give them enough time, and Criterion cancelled everything and made the crap we have now. Some people say that Criterion was too ambitious, but in my view, they were trying to do the right thing.

Year late but here's my take on it.
1. Mia is a cop. She probably just continued her work in the RPD as usual.
2. Likely retired. In the beginning of his character, he displays an ego but by the end of it he seems to genuinely accept his defeat and move on.
3. Razor is a street racer, he isn't going to escape prison lmfao
4. After having their egos shattered they likely went dark. They have nothing. No crews, no cars.
5. The player probably retires. He won. He defeated the blacklist, he conquered Polamont and he got the girl. There's nothing for him to accomplish further.
Fact: Razor just got released in jail In NFS Unbound, There's also a Bonus or a Secret mission that the Unbound protagonist have to Drive the M3 GTR, Escape the cops and Deliver, And... the protagonist realized how Dangerous the M3 GTR is, And the bad problem is the Legendary BMW M3 GTR was in Razor's Hands AGAIN?!

But if you hear the in-game character is unbound, she says the caller refers to themselves as the blacklist, which is most likely the MW/Carbon Protagonist since he defeated the whole blacklist. And that 'Razor's Edge' pun was just to give the player some funny giggles. But it actually meant as the mission being dangerous. I could be wrong about the caller being the MW/Carbon Protagonist, but Razor is still in prison by now. So it's definitely not him that called for the M3.

My most loved NFS version. 32mins of this was enough for me to reminisce. Life back then was all fun when there are no tedious grinding and actual money spending to do, unlike what nfs is nowadays. Too bad carbon is discontinued. Id love to see what happens next on their love story
