Marc Brianvil, comedian, grew up attending an adventist school and church. When he moved to the United States, he began to notice things about the church that he didn’t agree with. For example, why were Haitian pastors telling him not to attend an adventist congregation of Black Americans? Why was he taught that God didn’t like people who wore jewelry, but the American adventist wore earrings?

Straight facts. My dad is Haitian but I grew up in the U.S. Virgin Islands and went to and Adventist elementary school. My grades were always better than the pastor’s kids but they got all the awards, accolades, and attention. My mom pulled me out real quick. She was not having that.

Thank you for your words of encouragement. No matter what I’m facing in my life I won’t let go of Jesus! I keep crying out asking for prayers because, I know our prayers are stronger together so please pray for me. I’m struggling to provide for my two autistic children since losing my job over not getting the vaccine. I have pre existing health condition (Lupus) and Heart disease. My husband passed away three years ago, so I’m all alone. Both of my sons are non verbal so things are more difficult for me. I don’t know how we are going to make it through. This month we are facing homelessness. Every month is a struggle. We have nowhere to go. I’m so embarrassed of my situation. I’ve been put down and mocked over my circumstances. BUT NO MATTER WHAT. I have Faith that God will provide! Faith over Fear!
