Even though the 4th and 5th movies weren’t the best films ever, they’re still Indiana Jones, and I consider the original 3 films masterpieces in their own original ways. THANK GOD they made Dial of Destiny. I was resigned to the series ending with Crystal Skull after like a decade, and then I was worried Ford wouldn't be up to the task of playing an action hero anymore. I have rarely been happier to be wrong.

His whole story looks great interwovened like this. I appreciate the respect shown to his "lesser" adventures. Only thing I might've added was shots of "old Indy" from the Young Indy TV series. I do like that he ended up as an old man telling stories about his adventures.

The thing that took me out of the newest film wasn't just the time travel but that they didn't use AI to get young Harrison Ford's voice for the flashbacks. 🤷🏻♂️
