- This Fighting Collection is a fine way to commemorate an important anniversary, and to make some classics previously lost to time available to modern audiences - but ultimately, it is very much preaching to the choir. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
This collection is awesome. Between this, pac man museum+, pocky and rocky, wonder boy collection and the cowabunga collection whenever it finally releases, this years been amazing for retro fans. There's just something so satisfying about retro. It respects your time, and isn't filled with meaningless bloat like most modern games.
It could have been all Darkstalkers and I'd have been fine with it.
I have the "StreetFighter Anniversary collection for "PS4. Great "Street Fighter classics. Besides that the only fighting games I play are Tekken 7 "DragonBall Z's Zfighters "Xenoverse 2 and Soul Caliber 6. I just play storymodes and arcade modes. I never play against anyone,I just like fighting A.I. for fun. That's enough for me. Nice video 👍
Same here. I just playing against A.Is too and always look for a challenge whenever I play arcade mode of every fighting game I played.

Now they need to put a part two and three of their fighting game heritage along with the side scroller beatem ups like Final Fight 1-3, Aliens vs Predator.
Although I did enjoy this, if they ever get to re-release Project Justice or CvS2, I’ll be 100% satisfied
Or you could just not be a rube, build a PC, and play them all for free on superior open source emulators.

As much as I LOVE the marvel v capcom games, licensing would be a nightmare since marvels IPs are owned by disney now but you never know i wouldnt hold my breath thought

Puzzle Fighter is the only thing I like on this. Going to wait for a deep discount or hopefully a sequel.
Puzzle Fighter will be in Arcade 2nd Stadium if you don't mind not going online I would recommend that instead since you can pick and choose what games you want to buy.

Of all the Capcom Collections. This is one of the best one there is. I can’t wait to play these classic fighting games. Keep bringing up the good stuff Capcom.

Pre ordered this just for Darkstalkers. Never was a Street Fighter fan, but I've always been completely hooked on DS.
Although I have lots of the Darkstalkers stuff previously released this still may be very much worth collecting.. Its that good a series.. It may even be better than SF..
Perhaps we should support this being if we did there may be a chance we’ll see more of the series in the future.. Besides that Halloween is right around the corner!
I've been "accessing" these games for the past 20 years or more, in other collections from other consoles (either on the consoles themselves or emulating said consoles), emulating all types of arcades, previous pc collections. All games easy to emulate even on the cheapest non-gaming laptops.
Yess you can run these and so much more so I don’t understand the point of those compilations
@@FinalStage4L I even played the HD xbox 360 version of Super Puzzle Fighter on Xenia, it plays perfectly and looks beautiful on proper widescreen and 1440p.
But you cannot play Online
@@curtfox91 Most arcade Fighting games have some kind of way to be played online, but sure, you wouldn't be playing against people in PSN or XBL.
Warning: If you're only playing offline against AI good luck lol They're super busted and input read constantly. Especially the 1st Darkstalkers game.

It's worth it just to be able to play an online version of SF2 on the switch that doesnt suck. The lag on the SF anniversary edition makes it downright unplayable online.

I was looking forward to this until I realized Rival Schools and Project Justice weren't on it.
Just wait until capcom releases 3d era fighting collection and I think you'll be fine if capcom ever decides to do that

I like this collection a lot.
I really want a racing collection and I do have the midway one but that has some games that are good on it I want a lot of racing games no matter who makes them and they should do the samething for a classic arcade collection meaning alterd beast and golden ax those kinds of games I might still get this but I am going to get the TMNT collection first and then CODMW2

I wish they allow characters to transfer different games, it would be the most interesting improvement. I want to bring darkstalker characters to SF2 lol editing mode or transfer mode etc.😁

They could of easily removed the original SF2 and SFCE and leave SF2 hyper fighting and added more fighting games,They could of easily added 3D fighting games like Power Stone and Project Justice and SF3.Im happy they added the Dark stalker games but i already have the games for my ps1 collection.
Nah curated fighting game progress is better. Same producer as street fighter 6. This game is to share gameplay understanding with newer players so sf6 can be built for better minds
Waiting for Rival Schools 3 and Power Stone 3 (love those games). But adding 3D fighters to this would distract from its productivity

I would have preferred JoJo's bizzare adventure over Red earth and RPG game. Maybe we will get a X-men street fighter collection. I would love the original X-men, Marvel Super heroes, X-men vs Street fighter, Marvel Super Heroes vs Street fighter, Marvel vs Capcom and Marvel vs Capcom 2 all in one collection....

There's a lot of licensing issues unfortunately. Disney is a lot more stingy with Marvel now. Just look at MvCI. It hurts, cuz those games were awesome.
