Baby Laughing Dove can only squeak, but still shows the Bronzewing Pigeon who's boss.

This week I've had 5 Baby Laughing Doves show up to my yard, they're still too young to coo so they just squeak and it's hilariously adorable.
They're also vicious and will fight literally any other bird here, as far as flying across the yard if another Dove lands while they're here.
This male Bronzewing thought they'd be a pushover and he could have the seed dish to himself, but the baby Dove proved him wrong.

I’ve got bronze wings in my yard everyday lol. (You’d be surprised how stupid they are) always getting stuck in my chicken coop!

Haha yeh these doves hardly slap like most others, unless they're defending their nest or something. If they're fighting each other (or other pigeons like this lol) they usually launch at each other biting at their necks.

The smaller doves don't fuck around. I have eurasian collared doves in my yard and they easily have a 90% winrate against the wood pigeons that are twice their size.

Senegal Dove is just another name for Laughing Dove 🙂

Not hybrids, the small bird is the "Laughing Dove" (Spilopelia senegalensis) and the big one is the Common Bronzewing (Phaps chalcoptera)
