Hi! My goal for 2024 is to also stay consistent on my social platforms (like my YT channel I started this year ❤ for my small business) & I’m trying to get back into cash stuffing! I did it in 2021, but fell off since 😅 You’re so inspiring & I hope you have a great NYE! 🎉
Thank you! Wishing you success with your channel and staying consistent. It can be challenging but I hope you can achieve all your goals this year!
Great channel, congrats. Question, where can I start saving for Roth IRA? Any suggestions?
Thank you! The top places I’ve heard are Fidelity, Charles Schwab, Vanguard, and SoFi. But there are many places to choose from. I would do some additional research and see what would be best for you.
Love your videos. Have you counted your dollar jar yet?
Thank you, not yet. I plan to do that this week
❤❤❤
I'm not sure I understood you right about how you are going about your Roth IRA. It appears that you want to accumulate the 7K and then get the IRA. That's great, however you might consider another tactic which is to do it more regularly. The reason being is interest. The sooner you get the IRA the sooner the interest start accumulating. By now you know that every little bit count. All the best in 2024
You misunderstood. As I have the amounts I will contribute monthly, my overall goal is just to contributed 7k over the course of the year.
Then I want to save $1900.or a little over what u think
My goal is to pay off my student loans. I have 38K left. Not sure if it’s entirely possible as I also live on my own, have a car payment, insurance etc but I’m hoping to get a per diem to help with it.
Also, when you start your Roth IRA and you are comfortable, can you share the process with us please?
Wishing you success, even if you can’t pay your entire balance I am sure you will make great progress this year. And I’ll share what I can for Roth IRA. I am definitely no expert but I’ll try.
You're saving for a new house? Why don't you just move back in with your parents and ask your mom if you have the house in the future. By doing that you will definitely save more money. My mom is toxic I am not going to lie about that but at least she's giving me her house. Her house is already paid for all I have to do is pay the taxes in the future. As a mom you should be willing to help your seed. I know you're trying to be independent but what's wrong with having your parents house in the future? At least you would not have to save $100,000 to buy a house or you would not have to worry about paying taxes on the house. I complain a lot about this and that but I need to stop complaining and realize I am blessed to have a mom that's willing to give me her house when she passes on. Even my late sister who passed away from cancer was willing to give me her apartment. I am blessed and I didn't even know it at first. There are so many people out here saving up for a house and an apartment when I don't have to do that. Amen to that.
I think the 1st question should be Does her mother actually own the house in which she lives? Other considerations: Siblings? Family living arrangements?
@@krislatoya7556 Okay you're right, but she probably does own her house because my mom and I are very poor and we live in the ghetto where people shoot during the New year. My mom bought her 2 bedroom house in 2002 when I was just 15 and now I am 37 and I have been living with her since. One day she sat down with me and explained to me about how to pay taxes on her house and where to pay it at and how much I will be paying which is $2,000 yearly that should be paid in November. If her mom is between 1950-1965 they are known to have a house that is paid for or if her mom bought her house in the 80s or 90s it was cheaper to save and buy a house back in those days compared to now. A realtor named Joe Petty helped my mom friend and her husband get a house back in 1982, a 3 bedroom house with a pool in the back of a poverty neighborhood. But let's say if she tried to buy that same house today in 2024 she would not be able to afford it why? Because back in the 80s and 90s it was much easier to save for a small house in the ghetto because savings on a regular traditional savings account interest rates were 10.00% apy back then, now it has dropped all the way down to 0.02%. It's a lot of people my age or younger than me have to save money to buy their own house. My mom is toxic but she is doing something for me and she has 6 kids that's a lot of kids but she's leaving all of us something, some parents only have 2 kids and would not give them their house. I was searching on this website baddies budget where the creator was selling a new home budget binder and so many people were buying them. I said to myself why their mom can't just say well if you ever need a house you can get my house in the future when I am not around anymore. All those parents can't be renting their house.
