When I copy a link from my googlesheet into a video I post on youtube so that anyone who visits the video in my youtube channel can download the google sheets link. Go, but why would anyone who downloads my links below have the ability to disable or open my googlesheet links?

starting asset tracking project on App Maker. Deadline's after 2 weeks. Will write another comment after successful or unsuccessful completion of project... First time trying App Maker,, wish me luck :)

@@somethingunique7890 I couldn't use App Maker for that project :( Instead I'm using google sheet's dialogbox and sidebar for CRUD ops while all tabs of spreadsheet being locked for only admin. This way I can validate data input for one line, assign unique ID and control access to specific fields after they've been completed. and at the same time I'm using filter/sort and query formulas on the other tabs to visualize data as users need to see. End result = google sheets with app script being used as web app.

even while having low code environment App Maker still needs good understanding of web, JS, app script and how databases work, so you could feel yourself confident while working on it. BUT if you do know JS, Databases and web, why wouldn't you go learn some framework and fully build your own web app?
I can't say anything bad about App Maker cuz I didn't have enough experience with it. Because I couldn't get started with it! there are almost no tutorials on youtube and the only full course I could find on web was appmakeruniversity.com which is pretty expensive I guess :( and the only source to learn for me was developers.google.com/appmaker/samples and after getting into some samples and templates I thought "it's perfect time to stop here and look for smth else".

Please update, it's very misleading to have this video up and running, when you have discontinued app maker, instead replaced it with app sheet, correct me if i am wrong!, GSuite is renamed as Google workspace and app maker is basically gone

Google App maker is shutting down in like 6 months (jan 19th 2021). New app are disabled. This video is pointless and should probably be removed.
What have you just made to app maker? Totally disappointed. After more than year of development in this platform you just discontinue without any appropriate justification. Only choice we have is to move to Microsoft with whole ecosystem not just app maker apps. We was thriving for deeper integration with g suite but this decision made it clear for us that gsuite is suitable for small business only.
They are making this video and shutting down the App maker at the same time! How ironic
