In the internet everybody is warning about how fragile insta x3 is. You're using it with certain conditions, how many times you've broken it and which kind of protective equipment you have for it? Really wanting to buy one but scared if I spend almost 1k to it and it gets broken first day 😢

It's always better to ride with someone else, but sometimes you just need to get out even when schedules don't align.
Man that must be a brutal trail, because on camera it looks gnarly as! And cameras always make things look much less than they are!

The 360 cameras seem to capture the steepness well and wow, these trails look steep. I tried riding at Cypress once and haven't been back as the trails are too much for me.
Agreed, the 360 cam does a much better job a capturing the steepness. Cypress is great, but it's definitely on the challenging side of things. It's funny when you look at it on Trailforks and it's just a big tangle of red trails 😂.

On Dale’s last posting of your ride with him at the Woodlot I made some sort of backhand comment about him leaving you behind on his speed lap. I take it back. 20-45 minutes depending on traffic. We're definitely spoiled with great trails here!

How are you liking the Oak levers on the TRPs? I'm thinking of balling out on a pair of brakes, and my saints have seen their fair share of abuse. Sick riding as always!
really wish I lived near a place that actually has some hills. Its so flat where I am so not much in the ways of interesting to ride biking/hiking trails.
We've spoiled living next to the mountains. There's probably a dozen great riding spots within 2 hours.
Dale best watch out - looks like you're primed to take all of his KOMs! 😉 That was pretty insane. Did you seriously only use your brakes the few times we could hear them? (How many times have you ridden those particular trails, Dave?)
Dale's too fit and fast for me! And I used my brakes plenty on these trails. They were probably howling from overuse :p. As for how often I've ridden them, hard to say. Probably between 6-12.

The camera (insta360 i assume) makes me and my friends head hurt due to the flickering motion blur, so we can't properly watch any of your videos, which is a shame because this is clearly some of the better mtb content.

21 front, 23 rear with double down casings. That's compared to 19/21 with exo+ on my regular bike.

That log/wood up the rock on the second lap was sketchy AF. Do you find the weight on the e-bike harder to manage the smaller drops where you are having to be so precise for the landing?
Definitely sketch AF, especially on the eeb because it's 100x harder to do little adjustment pivots and hops because of the weight. For my riding style, the weight of an ebike makes almost everything harder. It does make the bike feel planted though.

Going to be a mix of both! I would never give up my acoustic bike because it's so much more playful and lets me do the weird tech stuff that I love, but since becoming a parent, I love having an ebike too.
