With ice on the lakes for at least another month and snow falling today, this is a wonderful reprieve from winter and a reminder of sailing season ahead. Wonderful camera work and editing and great choice of music. Oh, and let's not forget the boats - what an eclectic group of gorgeous designs.
What more can you tell me about the boat with the single mast and balanced lug rig - I assume this is the custom Tom Atkins design. This is a real beauty!

Is your Melonseed a Brush Creek built boat?
No, I built two for myself. But they are very similar to the Brush Creek version.
Where did you launch?
There's a park with good ramps by the Rt 5 bridge over the Chickahominy.
