Worked 5 yeara s then took a year off well back up took 30 days off for a coma me being in one from a drunk driver.Then took 11 months to give my broken body a chanc to heal from broken bones mostly all on left side. Thats my era. Sir.
People rightly talk about the bass skills of Duran Durans Taylor [play that fucking bass John] and he is a true great but Kemp seriously is just as good in my view. Like Taylor he has a great sound, beautiful basses, and just sways back and forth so smoothly as he immerses himself into the grooves. Wonderful song from one of the key 'new romantic' genre bands. Finally saw them in 2015. I'm into hard rock and NEVER told my mates growing up I loved Span. It was a dream come true.
Heartbreaking Finish to Spandau Ballet . . . They never rejoined anyway. You’ll see the contempt from Martin clearly. Gary wrote most of the songs yet it’s Tony who brought them to life and constantly breathes life into them. The rest of the band seen in various interviews need to realise that it’s Tony who made these hits the way that they were.

...like them or not for a man singing in the public, pop, eye this long there are few if any whose voice seems as good and robust as 35 years ago. Wallop.
Joe Russo....it is a beautiful PRS, the model I don't know. It has no tremolo which Kemp has always used in most of the set list. You are looking at maybe 6 grand for that axe. Kemp uses Teles a lot, it is the sound for the Span set list, but on a song like this he goes with a bit more oomph.
But the other guys are even less without Hadley! And by the way, Tony Hadley has a solo career for nearly 20 years already. I did see him live twice and he has still a briljant voice!
