For everyone asking for a tutorial, SoutherShotty has a tutorial called "2D Facial Rigs Just got 10x EASIER in Blender!" which covers a very very similar type of rig.
TUTORIAL: for all my lost fellows out there, here is the explaination 1)take 1 png with alpha 2)create 2 principle shader in the node, in 1 decide the color of the overall character skin and in the other plug the png 3) mix shader both and use the alpha of the png as factor 4)the alpha of the png should be plugged into principle shader and also in the mix shader. then continue adding pngs you need in the same way with mix shader. you are welcome, drop a like :D NOTE: if the png is squashed and looks horrible, check you UVmap, you need to have clean UVs FOR RIGGING refer to tutorial that rig the png image sequance
@@maisam.hosaini so they are all textures? Also, why not render with eevee in the realtime compositor? This looks amazing! the .PNG with transparency are 4096 in size?
@@maisam.hosaini I was able to figure it out but what I’m trying to say is I was worried about moving a character up and accidentally switching mouth poses since moving a character usually involves moving the controls too.

@@activemotionpictures yup. it is all done by textures. our project need phisical render, just tested for that. thanks, and also yes, png with 4k res.
