- Another deep cut (kinda) from Oingo Boingo, released as part of the soundtrack album to the 1984 film, “Bachelor Party.” The soundtrack was released by I.R.S. Records, which Oingo Boingo was signed to at the time. The soundtrack album came after the release of “Good For Your Soul,” but before Danny Elfman and Oingo Boingo signed to MCA Records for the release “So-Lo.” With this in mind, determining whether this track and the title track that Oingo Boingo did for “Bachelor Party” counts as a GFYS outtake or a So-Lo outtake is hard to say. As for where I sourced the audio from, it's from the 2021 Rubellan Remasters CD reissue of "Good For Your Soul."
In terms of creating this extended mix, I was able to edit this a lot quicker than my other extended mixes, primarily due to the fact that this incorporates the least amount of editing; that is in my own personal opinion at least. This is a very fast paced track so I didn’t want to tamper much with the fast tempo and feel of this track, but I tried my best to make something out of this that can be enjoyed somewhat.
The tools used for creating this mix are the same as past mixes, the usual Ai instrument and vocal separation tools (in this case Demucs4 HT on mvsep.com), and cobbling everything together in Audacity. I originally wanted to add the alternate mix of this track to this extended mix, but I couldn’t find a way to have it naturally blend in with the mix that was used for the “Bachelor Party” soundtrack. I did use a snippet of the vocals from the alt mix as a way of referencing it, which you can hear in the second half of this extended mix.

Devo and Oingo Boingo should tour together. I wanna see an Oingo Boingo tour! It's been long enough, and Danny's got more money than he could ever spend. So, it's time to have some fun again!
