Hey uh Dr. T, what ever happened to the hundred thousandths place? You kept skipping it and going straight to millionths, I'm kind of confused by that.
e.g. 0.000001 is one millionth, 0.00001 is one hundred-thousandth.

I saw the comment and he mentioned he was planning on doing it already. I love Doc but a channel of his size probably can’t afford to do vids based on one comment, unless it gets massively seen or upvoted. Not naysaying, just.... normal saying lol.
What can’t be discounted though is his community is so cool that both of us saw and thought of the comment, and also that Doc admits that he’s used a bunch of stuff that a fan was kind enough to give him, and if they’re still around it probably means a ton to them.

I really appreciate how your RPs have always stayed true to the actual purpose of ASMR and not just for the sake of having a RP. Too many of my favorite artists seem to forget that the point is ASMR and not just acting a scenario. I wish they would get back to that. But you’ve always meshed the two perfectly and never wavered. Been a fan of yours for years.

Hey Dr. T, did you say that you machined that "fixation device"? That's some pretty good lathework if I must say so myself.
Edit: I'm halfway through the video now and I'm blown away. I don't know how I didn't realize that you are a machinist but it certainly explains a lot. I've got a lot of hand tools, measuring devices and fixtures I use as a tool and die maker that I'd be happy to loan you if you are interested... I'd love to see you do more like this, maybe even a bit of simple lathework or benchwork.

Over the years Ive noticed a lot of custom machined items. This video finally gives me confirmation Dr T is a machinist. Especially his vocabulary on the subject.

This is exactly my favorite kind of asmr you do, and the tone of your voice is simply perfect, even tho, this one still doesn’t reach “how precise asmr is” clip “tingleness level”which is by far in my humble opinion the best one of this series.

I come back to this video from time to time and i'm STILL surprised at the accuracy of this tool. That whole segment of 1/3rd a sheet of paper split 10 times into thousandths and then 1 of those split 10 times into millionths. ... Ladies and gentlemen that is a VERY small amount of difference.

I make crankshafts for a living. Never thought I’d be relaxed listening to you describe somewhat of what I do 7 days a week. I’m new to the area so it brings a new perspective to what I need to do to correct my machines when I’m making offsets. I never thought about it that way. Thanks Doc.

I have watched several ASMR videos recently, and yours has been the most effective by far at inducing tingles. Well done, sir.
Some guy mentioned Dr.T in an ephemeral rift video and decided I’d give him a shot….and I wasn’t disappointed both him and rift have those nice quiet deep voices and the sounds aren’t loud or disturbing their just quiet,relaxing and enjoyable to listen to

I kinda figured that you were a machinist because of your calmness and some of the things you used as props. And then when you showed the tool steel im like hah i was right
One of my go to relax before bed videos. Especially the wooden blocks.
I know you've done a video on it before for that tingle tower tool. But I would kill to see you working on the lathe when you make your next prop. I know your lathe is probably pretty loud, but there's probably some cool video concepts you could work around it!

What if you were already-
We had gauge blocks when I was in school. Used them to calibrate instruments, make sure things that we made in the milling machine was "perfect" etc.
