I used to be an Elder Scrolls cook like you, but then I took a fork to the knee.
Still waiting for the sweet roll recipe to drop.
🥺
Definitely like this type of content as well, your personality really brings the whole thing together. Cooking tips and tricks when?
Cooking tip #1: That's not how you fucking make a souffle
(and thanks fam )
I received this cookbook last Christmas from my partner, and she was thumbing through it afterwards, and saw the souffle recipe and was like "nah I am not making you a souffle f that". I started looking into it and echoed her sentiment. And then here you are like "fucken souffle let's go!" and you have the kitchen courage of lions. That's my story and thanks for the fun vid (and ESO tips)
Haha I don't blame her! I've never eaten a souffle before but that was most certainly *NOT* how it was supposed to come out ;p She should try out some of the simpler recipes though - some of them look pretty straight forward and pretty tasty! The crab dip I think is a perfect example!
As a Tank & Provisioner, I'd say these recipes turned out fine! Definitely makes me want to try my real cooking skills (which aren't as great as in-game) at making Elder Scrolls meals! Could help with wiping in a trial - I mean working at my job for 4 hours...
Dude that actually made me hungry great vid 👍
You have a perfect blend of funny and calm voice vibe. Awesome job and hope to see more
After playing this game on and off since basically its launch, I’ve been trying to find videos on making gold so I can finally engage in endgame content.
Ran across this lovely little channel and I’ve gotta say, I love the evolution your presenting voice has undergone. Aside from using a mic with of a higher sound quality, there now also seems to be more depth to your voice kind of like how radio personalities develop a voice over time.
At any rate, I also have a thing for cooking videos so this was an especially fun one :)
Randomly stumbled across this channel tonight, and I just love the calm comedy and really high quality editing. I barely play ESO off and on anymore, but general Elder Scrolls stuff always gets to me, so I think I'll stick around. This was such a great addition to my evening, thanks!
Also, if you RP, I hope you find the Wildlander project, for Skyrim. (If you haven't already) =)
This video was very fun to watch! Would definetly watch more, keep up the great work!
This was awesome! I just got my cookbook a week ago. Looking forward to trying some stuff. Great video arttea!
I will ALWAYS love cooking videos from the CZcamsrs I watch. Great vid!!!
This is such a cool idea for a video series 😃🤌 love your content, Arttea 🙏
i feel like you post the shit a lot of us eso players look for but can’t find too much on when looking for vids, keep doing your thing you deff have something here
Very chill to listen too. Enjoyed it a bunch! 👍
I absolutely love this video idea and would support this as a series! Well done as always.
Thank you!! (Also the kitty in your profile pic is so cute )
Definitely looking forward to more of these videos! I know you put a lot of work into this, it was great. Found your channel and learned all kinds of tips and tricks to farming and making gold in ESO, and turns out you’re just an all round amazing content creator. That mudcrab dip looks damn tasty!
Cheers! It was a fun one to make (and eat ;p)
There are definitely a lot more ESO tips and tricks kinds of videos that I have planned, but it is nice to mix it up a bit every once in a while, so it's really nice to hear that you all don't mind it :)
Your voice is so smooth and nice to hear :) I'll try the mudcrab dish!
I didn’t know how much I needed this premium Elder Scrolls content! Happy New Life Festival - thank you for this wonderful gift!
Happy New Life!
Awesome Gamer and budding Chef. What a combo! As Oliver Swift said "Could I please have some more?" Keep the cooking shows comin'.
Love this! please make more!! I too own the cookbook and haven't started using it yet and this is inspiring me to start!
Oh nice!! That's something that I've actually heard a lot - that a lot of people have this book but haven't tried anything from it haha. Myself included, to be fair! I would definitely recommend trying a recipe out!
Waited for this since you announced it and I love it❤️ definitely one of my fave content creators. Keep it up, little green pact breaking bosmer😇
Yey, glad you liked it!!
Shhh don't tell Y'ffre
oh gosh, thank you for this, i almost bought that book but had doubts about its culinary accuracy.
I saw this book at an entertainment store awhile back but didn’t pick it up. Love the channel and thanks for the vid!
insanely unique idea! loved it
I love this video. Great work! 👍🏻
Thank you!!
We got this cookbook for Christmas, I'm looking forward to trying out some of the recipes when I work up the motivation 😅
Yummy! These looked so good😊
Awesome! Thanks for this
Wow! I just found the cookbook on Amazon and since 3 out of four members of my family love elder scrolls anything, it will be here by Friday! Thanks for this IRL content LoL 😊
Exciting!! If you try out any of the recipes in the book, you will have to let me know how you like them! I need some more suggestions for which ones to make for myself next :)
I love this, just got the book this Christmas and use it often. I apply imperial seasoning to alot of my dishes now and it's suburb
Great job! Awesome show!
need more like this. super cool!
Those all looked really good, especially for first attempts at making rather complex recipes! Hope you had as much fun making them as it is to watch! As for breaking the Green Pact, though....
Loved seeing the kots, too .
Shshshhhh Y’ffre doesn’t have to know (hehe ty )
Your fur babies are go gentle, and lovey!
Nice to see this type of content, I got the book about 6 months ago but not tried anything from it. Would be nice to see how a mead turns out.
This was really fun to watch well-done
Thank you! :)
Omg I love the way your cat was curled up on the chair!! Such a cute cat. Also, great vid!
Croissant mode
Wow you did way better than I would have. I really enjoyed that!
Haha I’m glad to hear it!
my mom has been making soufflés au fromage for years and the only times they "fail" is when she forgets them in the oven and they burn so i've been looking up recipes online to try to understand what could be so hard
so far 3 different recipes have pretty consistent measures to serve 4 people, and call for 60 grams butter, 60g flour, 0.4L of milk, between 100 to 150g of grated cheese and 4 (maybe 5) eggs
according to the internet, translating to so-called "freedom" (or "foolish") units that's around 4 tbsp butter, 4 tbsp flour, 2 cups milk, between 1.5 to 2 cups of grated cheese
so basically double of everything the cookbook lists except eggs ...
i'm no chef, and i've not tested this, but maybe people having a hard time with soufflé is because they're using too much eggs in proportion to the rest ?
edit : saw a cooking show where they stressed that the way you butter your dish has a huge impact on wether it will rise or not
apparently it must be done from the center of the dish towards the edge and up the sides because this (somehow) helps guide the mixture upwards ... yes i know it sounds weird but maybe give that a try
I know this is an old vid but I just caught wind of your channel. Good content thus far and now I have to buy a cook book.
I love this video! More like this in the future would be nice 🙂
I can definitely arrange for that
Awesome cooking video! Very entertaining! Thumb👍
This was a very nice content, we are inspired to get an oven now.
Watching cooking an laughing is a good time. Great vid!
Thank you! 😌
As the person who cooks for my family, I want to give this a shot for dinner this week! It’ll give me a short break from cooking roasts and stews and… wait a damn second I already cook like a tavern wench 😒 hm there’s a realization…But this means my partner has to go grocery shopping 😋 hehe this is gonna be fun
I loved the video Arttea!
Thanks! I loved making it!!
I loved this video. It's off the beaten path and unusual. I like that. Get your cooking on.
She pulled out the good ol Molcajete to grind them spices, sick video Arttea!
This was a fun video to watch hopefully it was fun for you to make. The dishes looked good too 👍🔥. Also seems like a lot of people are picking Skyrim back up pewdiepie has been playing it some of my friends have and I have myself
It was really fun to make! And yeah, I’m sure the anniversary edition has sparked some interest in people! I played it almost ten years ago on console, but I never got very far in it, so it has been fun to play it now, oh so many years later
That was a great video ! funny and really entertaining to watch. I would love to see more of this type of stuff = ) and on a completely unrelated reason... I need to go eat
Bless, I would absolutely be down to make more content like this in the future Oh shit, your buff food is down! Go eat!
@@Arttea and i almost went to cyrodil without it
They told her to get back in the kitchen and the mad lad only went and did it, great vid Arttea!
You did a great job with the souffle I think your ramekins were just a bit big. Great video!
I definitely overmixed the egg there, but I’m sure there were many other forces at play there that weren’t helping me much either 😅 Thanks!
Love it 😊
I'd like to try some of these. Looks good. And those little game references are awesome
"Country girls make do"? 🤔
... 🧐
Oh my 😅
Did you really just say freedom units? 🤣 awesome video!
Laughed way too hard at the country girl part. Nice video.
like the vid, would i would definitely watch more. Just wondered what you think of selling crafted houses, that you make.
I've cooked a lot of these recipes......and I also cook alot.....like ALOT lot. The flavor in the recipes that most people are like "wot is that" is usually cardamom. I was surprised at the amounts was when I read the book. Also keep in mind that the good folks who made the book were probably cooking them in a professional or semi-professional kitchen so their oven/stove likely gets hotter and heats more evenly, maybe a convection oven as well so that probably explains your cooking time varying. I'd say bump the temp up 50 more freedom units to most recipes. Nice using the molcajete(morter and pestle). Very authentic way to grind spices. If you like guacamole and salsa try making it in there. You'll be surprised. Great job on the video!
Well done!
Thank you!
This was a good tangent from your normal content. I'd watch more :)
Bless! I’d be down to make more videos like this 😄
The leek and cheese crostata looks delicious
Where the argonian tacos at? Super interesting, glad to see you try something new and cool 😎
This was very entertaining and very funny. This brought me back to when I was cooking new things for the family; F UP's everywhere. Definitely want to see more videos like this. Also, has anyone told you that you may have a Wood Elf obsession?
I sexually identify as a wood elf
@@Arttea Hahahaha
Hey! I wish there was a witch mamas poty brew recipe 🤣 anyway happy new year
The mulled wines are serious. Great stuff.
5:17 Yeaaah it's from France, the country of the greatest bread makers !
I loved the video! How about doing a Sweetroll next? 💕 (And ah, I'm Vessimus, the capybara lady from your server hehe)
I would love to make a sweet roll! I heard that the one in this cookbook isn’t very good though - so I may look for another recipe. I’ll need to get some proper Bundt pans for those as well!
Making the soufle was very brave.
I never knew of that either and had the idea that you had as well
I freakin loved this video! It's time to retire from money-making and start your own cooking show!
I hope we won't have to wait too long for another one ^^
P.S. not completely jealous of the book or the cats... at alllll :D
Thanks girl
I'll try to not keep you guys waiting too long for another one ;p
The uncommon taste book in skyrim has a recipe for the sunlight soufflé!! My wife just found it while we were playing and streaming skyrim!
Oh shit!! That's so cool!
Bosmer recipe: Make sure to season best friend correctly.
😋😋😋
More of this!
Love your kitties. (no alliums please) Nice job on the recipes. I've made the Stormcloak veggie stew (add the cumin and curry and top with sour cream.) Honey lavender bread will take you directly to tamriel (exotic). IMO the sweet rolls are boring, they can be stolen from me any day. I'll try the Crostata next. thank you for video.
I heard good things about the lavender bread! I’d love to make some of that some time - perhaps to go with some of those tea recipes found at the back of the book!
Edit: ah also, my cat did not eat any leeks, she just licked the butter from it!
dank editing, the country girl misuse got me. nice foods
This is what the food channel should be like
okay we need more vids like this
I can definitely arrange for this
The recipies were tested by Todd and he said: it just works!
Lmaooo I had no idea either about “country girls make do” I searched it up and I was dying afterwards 😭😂😂
Garlic bread? Garlic..bread? My Gods! It's the future, I need to make this.
Cool!
Ram-kin haha 😂😂😂😂 It's definitely pronounced ram-e-kin. On another note, I freaking loved this video, so funny, in a good way, not in like a "oh my god your cooking is terrible" way 😂 Would love to see more videos like this!
TIL 😌
Excellent effort. And if its any consolation, souffle is always a bit bland. As far as I can tell it's just so you can show everyone that you can make your soufflé rise.
MORE I DEMAND MORE!
Ah your mortar is called a 'molcajete'. Watch for bits of stone. To reduce the grit some folk 'season' theirs by crushing dry rice into the thing until its even and not as rough, i bet there are better ways though.
You should make the sweet rolls! 😋
It might be fun to adapt some of the recipes from ESO, using real world ingredients. I have been a chef for about 15 years and some of the ESO recipes feel like they could make for a nice challenge. Given they arent already practical recipes, you get a little breathing room to make it work. The apparent challenge presented by something like "Melon-Baked Parmesan Pork" or "Longfin Pasty with Melon Sauce" feels like it could be fun and surprisingly good if approached sensibly. I am not much in the video-making department. But I can cook. If I could put together a decent video of the attempts, I am sure I could dazzle everyone with my(*checks notes*) Nibenese Garlic Cheese Fries lol.
I've thought about that! I absolutely lack the culinary skills to replicate such dishes, but that would be an incredibly neat concept!
Thanks. I enjoyed the video but I was hoping that you'd wash the food down with a mint mudcrab mojito. Perhaps next time?
11:13 Was when I knew you had made scramble eggs 😹 Good effort though , I’ve been wanting to do a video like this for months , but I don’t think a shaky iPhone video would look great 😕 apparently the sweet roll recipe is pants but there’s some good “interpretation” recipes 👍
LMAOOO they were some fancy ass scrambled eggs And yea I used a pretty solid camcorder for this one, but I think that people would still be down to watch some dank chefmanUK content, regardless of the video quality
Yeah I’ve heard the sweet roll is ass - bingeing with babish made some solid alternatives tho
@@Arttea you should try and get a sponsorship deal from Teflon or something for your next video 😹 dare you to tweet your video to Gordon 👀
I love all your videos even if they don’t apply to me 😮💨
This reminds me of the game of thrones cookbook, it seemed to have way more rustic recipes than this book but both give off “eso” vibes for sure
i'm looking this video while i'm eating, nice work with that eggs definitely i didn't do that, my provisioning skills are -50 xD
Same tbf
You're fun to listen to as well as funny and entertaining so I wouldn't worry if you deviate from your normal content. Whenever I see a notification from your channel I just watch the new video.
Thank you for the support! That is reassuring to hear! It is nice to shake it up every once in a while when it comes to making these videos!
Nice
Do they have a mud crab soup? 🤔 yum lol
Curious - does the book include the recipe Melon-Baked Parmesan Pork? That's my go to recipe in game and sounds like it would actually be good.
Unfortunately not! But it looks like others have created a recipe for that dish on their own, which is super neat!
Great content. [Wet slapping sounds].
that milk pour was ducking cursed
I was supposed to pour it in slowly, a little at a time!
hey professor, quick quesh - how many credits does this video provide toward my culinary arts degree? I know I get credits towards my business management from your other videos, but I was just curious as to how many recipes I need to whip up to complete my schooling. hope you had a great holiday season profess!
Good afternoon Timothy, I am happy to see that you were on time for class today.
Watching this video will provide you with a half credit to count towards your culinary degree. Each recipe that you make after the fact will provide you with another half credit.
Happy holidays!
Soooo do you then sell the soufflets on the guild traders for fat stacks?
I think I'll just throw those in the guild bank
