I listened to you guys a lot during my emo phase (12-15) but I still find myself coming back to your music with every new release even though I'm 20 now. Love how you keep going. Your music helped me a lot and I know it will help so many others too. Love the new release!
They were just starting in 2007 which from what I understand would of made you 13, not 12. This seems a bit flawed speaking they weren't widely know until around roughly 2 or 3 years ago. Unless you are from Illinois, then that would make sense.

I started listening to them because my dad loved them. This was when I was 11/12 since make a move came out in 2011 and that's the first song I listened to from them. It was at least a year but not more than two years after the song came out
I've always found myself coming back even though im not listening to them religiously anymore. I'm 18 now
Same! Discovered them in 2011, age 15, and their music helped me through a lot of difficulties throughout my puberty. Their first two albums were perfect for teenagers imo, heavy guitars, lyrics about pain and being misunderstood... But as I've grown, they've grown too and their new stuff seems to have more nuance. It's not "I'm in pain and nobody understands me and there's nothing I can do about it" anymore, it's about trying to get out of your misery, realising that you're stuck, falling, getting up again, being really self-conscious about your emotions and deeds. I listen to them more than ever now!

IFH always has amazing melodies. Recently I've found even my favourite groups have devolved into flat, uninteresting music with hardly any chord progression. But these guys hit the nail on the head every time: even their more rap-like pieces have a wow factor in their bridge or chorus. That consistent fantasticness really sets them apart from everyone else.
I think it's probably due to Ariel's skill with the piano. You can really tell that effort has gone into making *music*, instead of throwing lyrics on a beat.

Man, I loved that movie. Sucks that critics didn’t, though.
It was good but venom shouldn’t have been a comedic character... also if it were R they could have more of the twisted gruesomeness venom is known for (not needed but would be fun)
As a standalone movie, it was a great movie. As a venom movie? That's a completely different take on a character known to be viscous and shows no remorse
I also loved the movie. Watched it just a few days ago on Netflix. I also disagree with the people commenting Venom shouldn't have been a comedic character. He's always been a bit of a goofball.

I was at your show in Dallas at Deep Ellum and had the extreme privilege of meeting you in person. I told you that it was my first concert ever and I am almost 32 and Ariel you said "Well it's about time!" Too true, you guys blew me away mind body and soul. I only discovered IFH in July when my Best friend asked if her dad bought her tickets for her bday which was Aug 7th if I could go with her. I listened to a couple of your songs and I was hooked! We worked hard trying to save up the money to go bc we live in NW Oklahoma and we almost didn't make it but my parents offered me to do a job for them and the money from that had us set! Anyways..... I have the most wonderful amazing best friend in the world her name is Chyna and your band means so much to her, she was crying during several of your songs and honestly so was I. It was the most amazing experience and you were amazing live, so deeply involved with your fans in the crowd and so much energy it was electrifying!!!! I just want you to know that what you do matters and I hope y'all get soooo big in the entertainment World and I hope to someday bring my Daughter to see you as her first concert too! I believe that everyone is a light in this world and everywhere we go and everything that we do touches the lights of others.
