I just realized that" the animal in me " could be a metaphor for any hidden aspect of yourself or talent and how at you are prevented from showing it much to your anger, then in you yearn and become confident enough to want to show it to the world to really stick it to anyone who didn't believe in,insulted or wanted you to hide this part of yourself.
All the while from beginning to end you see yourself as what the world doesn't want to see you as.
I only came to this conclusion now I hope I'm on the right track at least. :)
