Great video, Frank! I'm a recent fan of yours, and I am a smidge obsessed with the MBTI 16 personalities nowđ€Ł. (Disclaimer this message is really long, I appreciate your patience.)
I really would love your help with something though. I have a friend that I just can't seem to place in the personalities spectrum. (Obviously, I know that you have said before "everyone does everything" but I really want to understand his preferences) I've gotten close with this friend over the last several months and we used to have super lengthy (hours) conversations about all sorts of things. It's mostly him talking, me listening/commenting/asking questions. Last summer, we became friends when I noticed him stressing out about something (I'm a 100% ENFJ girl so I wanted to help) and he opened up to me about some issues he had dealt with (I'm gonna keep this as general and impersonal as possible, for his sake) which I completely related to. Anyway, fast forward, I encouraged him to be more confident in himself, and he's encouraged me to keep things prioritized and not "take things so seriously." (It was a very mutually beneficial friendship) He identifies as mostly introvert and a thinker (which I agree with) and the things we talk about are mostly abstract, (things like theology, end of the world, people's mindsets and beliefs, etc) He is super smart and I loved listening to him (he also would have internal conversations that I could plainly read on his face, which I found fascinating) However, about 3 months ago, something happened I guess he just kinda totally switched. We just small talk now, he will answer questions with the least amount of words as possible, he will be joking around with his friends one minute, then "disappear," go off by himself, airpods in ears, scrolling through his phone the next. When I try to strike up a deeper conversation, he just doesn't seem much interested. If I had to type him, he seems closest to ENTP/INTP (he's not super debating or nerdy though) As an ENFJ, I'm really disappointed that we aren't so close now. I want to know if there's anything I can do to be a good friend to him despite this change in character.
Based on this information Frank, what is your best educated guess to his personality type? What other information could I give that might help you understand this better? Do you have any advice as to how I may be able to help or relate to him? (recently I've just been kinda leaving him alone, not reaching out as much since this happened, I hope I wasn't like, too much for him.)
Anyway thank you so much. I appreciate any feedback you can give me.
Sincerely, K.J.
Enjoy this time. You've got another 4 years to blame any mistake on "lack of sleep" from baby/young child and you get a free pass. It's lovely. :)
Damn Frank but at least ENFJ has a good fit
Love,
An ENFJ
How perfectly INFJ of you! đđ
We don't mind not wearing a name tag. đ
The INTJ's quiet, simmering frustration with humanity...I felt that on a spiritual level
I can relate to the coughing.
Nothing is more annoying than someone spraying u with all sorts of bacteria without a care in the world.
Like, do it away from other people.
me too
Same!
As an INTJ, I have learned to walk out due to excessive waiting. Watch out for Urgent Care Clinics that say an appointment is not required, when they actually are if you want to be seen.
This is me, when someone comes in ill and decides to spread the illness. When they should have stayed at home.
The INTJ slowly feeling his sanity slip away is art
and his physical health too lol
You just be an INTJ. You guys really enjoy any topic that centers around your genius.
@@fowchiiiliedpuppiesdied Okay, rude. But can I deny it? No.
â@@fowchiiiliedpuppiesdied It feels better than listening to your stupidity

As an INTJ, that was terrifyingly true.
yay another one
As an INTJ, I have lots of patience and can sit in silence for a pretty long time. But being around others, and sitting next to them, especially if itâs a loud area. I will promptly leave.
Yep, same.
"If you die, please cancel appointment" Yes, that would be an interesting call đ
Poor ISFJ, even a patient man has his limitations with waiting, and missing his brother's wedding was the final straw for him! đđ
To the INFJ who was given a responsibility from a complete & total stranger that she never asked for: I feel your pain, sis. đ
and the fact that she was an estp , which is actually my brother, makes it soooo relatable to me
As an INTJ woman, that was the most accurate depiction of my interaction with others. Ever.
Yes. Flawless.
Yes. As an INTJ woman I can 100% confirm this.
Yep
I don't think I have ever encountered an INTJ irl. But this one is so hilarious đ€Ł
Fr and what's worse is when they try to talk to you đ that's why I always sit far away from others.

đ
As an INTP, I understand INTPâs frustration
@@otsoysyzfjztisyoxncxjgd9 YO I LOVE ENFPs yâall are like sentient rays of sunshine
Idk, feels unreasonable. Obviously they charge money to discourage people from messing up their schedules.
Haha...this is basically me (INTP) every time I'm stuck in a medical waiting room. The longer I wait the longer I have to ponder all the problems with the US Healthcare system. Then I move to systematically theorizing different solutions to said problems. Each hypothetical solution crumbles in the face of my own counter-arguments till I'm a puddle of cynicism. Then the Dr. sees me and treats my symptoms with a big-pharma cocktail. More often than not, I ignore the prescription and decide to let my body try a little harder at healing itself and vow never to return unless I need an ER. Then a few years pass and I forget. Process repeats.
I've had a similar conversation with a dentist. Since my appointment always starts 20 minutes late, I refuse to show up 15 minutes ahead. If I'm going to wait 30-40 minutes you need to stop scheduling more than one person for the same time slot. I think they thought I wasn't being serious.
as an INTP, I have almost all my appointments remotely. for those that cannot be done like this, I book at the times that are most inconvenient for others (broadly speaking) or in the first appointment slot of the day (they've not yet had time to fall behind if you're first XD). though, it seems to depend on the specialty or the location? where I used to live, appointments always started so late! like, literal hours. but I liked the doctor a lot. in my current location, it's usually been on time or 10-20 minutes late at most.
That was so hilarious! The INTJ sitting next to the cougherđ I couldn't make out the long-sleeved orange shirt guy who was dying, but that was really funny! Of course INFJ gets stuck being responsible for somebody elseđ€Ł Great job all around!đđč
It was especially funny for me, too! My son's INTJ and I'm INFJ.
The orange shirt guy was the esfj who was still trying to get their steps in, I think
-INTJ
@@solangelo_shipper2630 Haha, I watched it again later and realized that. Thanks!đ
@@StephanieJeanne np, hope I didn't sound condescending....my Infj mom and enfp friend say that I tend to sound condescending a lot
@@solangelo_shipper2630 no, not at all. đâïž
Its getting creepy how accurately he is doing the INTJ sketch , Why you gotta make INTJ so relatable like that ???đ
They're spot on every time. It's probably because INFJ (Frank's type) is the INTJ's most similar type.
Believe me, as an INTJ, I know for a fact that the INTJ portrayed here was either plotting ways to threaten him, plotting ways to leave, or was forced there by a family member of friend and didn't want to see the doctor or be around people from the start. Most likely, the third option.
INTJ and ISTJ iss me đ
Damn INFP is so accurate, That's why I keep asking myself and feeling worried a lot đđ not just in waiting room but waiting room is part of the problem sometimes đ€Ł
Agreed, I really empathise with their concerns.
He could have shown the same for INFJ! Catastrophizing about ourselves too adds a little extra spice to also feeling responsible for the other guy sitting there...
Man, I hate peeing part.
Tertiary Si is a rough I bet
The pee in the cup is my literal nightmare - INFP
As an ISFJ it makes me so happy to see this much screen time and it was totally accurate! I try to avoid conflict at all costs so I'll always try to be patient and polite but there's definitely a limit especially if it means missing something else important
Same! đ
Lol yup and that limit is like a light switch lol. Patient and compassionate to DONE!
Finally I met a fellow ISFJ! And as someone who has to deal with doctors a lot - yes it was frustrating but I dont wanna cause a scene though I've been waiting for like 4 hours and I have to be somewhere else by then đ
@@maybeimurangel Exactlyyyy see you get it
@@Gjakdjruknownhpjslove you too -isfj
As an INTJ, I can truly, TRULY relate. When I'm waiting in a public transpo to arrive in my destination, I get annoyed with noises. People chatting, noisy smartphones and I'm like, "c'mon dude use earphones." But I don't want to cause drama and make a big deal out of everything so, I always decide to make it slide. Expressing anger isn't worth the energy. Because I know I'll be talking to a wall if I'll bother to speak anyway. đ€Šđ»ââïž
Okay, but INTP is spitting facts though.
-INFJ
Really đ
IKR as an INFP I honestly resonated with INTP the most đđ
One of our strong points đ
do you prefer the types wearing a nametag, or do you prefer the type popping up on screen for a couple seconds at the end of a scene?
Wearing a nametag please! Love your videos - INFJ all the way!!
nametag! that way my eyes don't have to wander off the character to see the type.
The name tag, I know what to expect m
Name tags please
Name tag! I also really like the different looks for each type. The blue wig for ENFP is spot on!! I love yours vids and theyâre always painfully accurate and funny as hell lol. - ENFPđ
As an INFJ, I CAN RELATE!
I love how Frank James is so accurate with the descriptions of the personalities
Really enjoying your content đâ€
Not really his impersonations of Esfpâs are usually negative
â@@k513faialliance5really? interesting i have not notice that at all. Makes me wanna rewatch all ESFPs part
As an INFJ I highly relate to INTJ and experience the scenario making of INFP and ENFP - though internally and while staying absolutely calm. Whatever may come - Iâm mentally prepared and kinda indifferent.
Same. Iâm an INFP and thatâs pretty much how I am. Internalizing all those things and freaking out while looking outwardly calm haha
Iâve never seen so much of ISFJ in any of your skits, Frank đ! 200% accurate of course! đ

As an INTJ when someone walks into a waiting room I mentally scream "Don't you dare sit next to me, don't do it..." as I glare at them...@0:58 is us when they do it anyway.đ
Same. Also mentally think the same and do that same 'INTJ glare' when also on public transport. But this just seems to make us more 'attractive' to people instead to sit next to and then chat to us. đ€šđ

From now on, Iâll always wear a fancy dress and when someoneâs got something they need me to do or something like this happens, I can say âsorry, Iâm in a rush. Got a wedding.â I love it XD
And some of those might be envious as hell and do all in their power to ruin that for you. (INFP here. On the dark side đč)
This is actually brilliant.
I love how ESFP immediately shied away from the conversation as soon as the same question was turned on them. It's also neat to see another actor in the video for once.
Pretty sure thatâs his editor đ
He seems cool and attractive
Whatâs your personality type ?
*INTJ.* 0:58 That's *exactly me* when I'm in a meeting with coworkers (trying to politely hide my irritation, down to the profuse blinking & ears ringing too). *Eerie*
Spot on for ISTJ. I hate waiting and I prefer to fix it myself. BTW, my go-to for colds is now vitamins D, C, zinc, and elderberry. Take it first hint of symptoms. No waiting.
Finally a lot of parts for isfj đ
I would never waste my brother's wedding for the doctor, but I am really patient and polite đ and sometimes I explode
~isfj
I get the impression that the whole wedding thing was just a lie to guilt-trip the doctor into letting him in faster xD
INTJ's silent, seething suffering, even the high-pitched sound in the ears ... yes, so yes.
As an ENTJ, I was always confused as to why my mom laughed every time I went on an angry rant, but when ENTJ came up in this video, I laughed too. Now I understand
"If you die, please cancel appointment" đ
Maybe they turn this building into a haunted house during Halloween
Best line đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
There is dark humor & absurdity here that I'm appreciating very much, Frank!!! đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł So needed as I avoid my Dr appointment. Also loving the female wig/sweater styles
Waiting rooms is basically my worst nightmare - intj
Yes,.....i just can't...., It'd be fine if it was just me in that waiting room...... sometimes i think i got ocd đż- INTJ
Wrong tactics. Don't fear it as a nightmare - be the nightmare. I'm just kidding. I'm reading something. Or I watch people and try to imagine why they might be there.
@@7XSubaru same, sometimes i just ended up questioning myself instead and blank out
INTP & INTJ , Are a whole mood
As an ISFJ, this is incredibly accurate up to the calling someone to cancel something important đ€Ł
But after then, no. I just keep waiting and erupting on the inside while trying so hard to be polite to everyone.
I'm sure if the INTJ skit went on for about 10 seconds longer, something bad would definitely happened to that cougher, can guarantee that.
I find that pretending to mentally curse and then pretending inhuming said inconsiderate, thoughtless people, privately in my head instead works for me. INTJ
INFPs at the waiting room: zoning out until its your turn....even if it takes more than 24 hours cause you are way too anxious to ask the staff about the possibility of being forgotten :')
Thank you for giving ISFJs more screen time. I feel like ISFJs are often overlooked and underestimated just because we're too quiet or patient lol. You don't wanna test an ISFJ's patience though. When we get mad, we get MAD mad
Thank you for representing ISFJs with this level of accuracy đ
I love the sign in the background âif you die, please cancel appointmentâ xD
The INTJ killed me đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
This is my default facial expression (and reactions 0.58+) when dealing with irritating or nosey people. INTJ.
That ringing sound for the INTJ, I recognize that. đ people babbling and otherwise making a ton of noise finally turns into one painful noise.
As an istp, i like to be alone. So that first scene is very accurate
Lol if I was in a bad mood I wouldn't even answer ESFP , even if there's only two of us in that room I would pretend like they're talking to someone else
as an intp, if it is not remote appointment, then I book in time slots that are most likely to have few people (like the middle of workday in the middle of the week) and I also go full "hermit has left home for first time in months" mode (aka headphones, hoodie, mask, sunglasses even). no one has attempted to talk to me yet. I don't think they have at least . . . there's a non-zero chance that people have attempted to and that I've totally missed it lol.
"if you die, please cancel your appointment"
INFJ here and I think that exact sentence every day. The bliss of wanting to be a good human, feeling an obligation to and also thinking "why does people always think I care about their stupidity??" đ
As an INTJ, I can confirm tht this is how we sit in a waiting roomđ
I love when ESTP and INFJ do anything together, itâs my favorite. If you did a whole video on it that would be đcool!
ISTP one is on point, respect the personal space unless you have good reason not toâŠ.or if youâre sharing food then I donât mind
I'm an ISTP and it's funny how I relate to INFP on this one , I would definitely be panicking like that inside but all you could see ,is me sitting down and focusing at ONE direction like I'm about to murder somebody, all that fear and anxiety and my anger towards doctors would make me think of millions of bad scenarios hundreds of backup plans I would totally forgot about the ESFP that they're beside me and time would fly so fast lol
Oh my gosh , 0:54 this is my constant "resting" INFP face, I'VE NEVER LAUGHED SO HARD, HOW ACCURATE đ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
I'm an INFP and omg I remember when I had to wait so long for my drug test. I was so nervous because I know there wasn't enough in my tank. When I went to pee in the cup, I couldn't fill it so I had to come back later and wait again đ
How much did they need? Never heard before that you gotta fill the entire cup.
It was ecen better when they wanted a n°2 to a cup but no blood in it please. It was hilarious because my problem was the bleeding. "I cannot do it, I bleed like constantly...!" "Please do your best!" It really helps if you treat all that medical - erm - adventure as a comic video. Works for me anyway.
Okay , this has to be said. TYSM for uploading videos regularly for us even though you're a cool and tired dad , we just LOVE u to the core!!
As an infj ..... Always reading to destruct my myself from anxiety and surroundings... Very accurate đ
Welcome back editor Kevin, good to see you đâ
Good for the ESFJ! He breaks a record đ
There is no way in heck I would set next to someone like INTJ shoulder to shoulder even if they are ok and not coughing. I'd rather stand and walk around if there is no enough seats. And the longest time I spend in a waiting room was 5 hours. Thanks Frank for reminding me đ but I didn't get a high blood pressure or anything. I don't know why when it's come to waiting I can wait patiently? but I'm not patient in general. I just don't think that infuriating will speed things up. This is why I take the first appointment if I'm going back to the same busy doctor, or not going back at all if I'm not pleased with the service and look for another clinic the next time.
That poor INTJ. I would have moved away from the coughing guy. đ·
Too true for the ISFJ, but mostly politely excusing themselves from their brother's wedding as not to bring any sickness to the wedding party/guests more than as not to inconvenience the healthcare staff.
Thank you for the content you post! It has helped me understand the strengths and weaknesses of my own personality (ISFJ-T) for self improvement and to understand others better in my personal and professional relationships.
Could you please do a video about the IXXJs and the different ways they want control? E.g. the ISFJ and INTJ are two very different personalities but they both want control in their lives in their own way.
As an ENFP that's me đ€Ł
Although I can feel for the INTP because I did an online Chinese class and we had to do zoom test and if we were 10 minutes late we'd get a automatic 0 but one time my teacher just fell asleep and I waited 2 hours and I just had to retake it. I didn't get an automatic 100
Finally a 16p vid this weekend is hyped
Love the INFJ reaction. In almost any random group of people, Iâm the one asked for directions, to watch someoneâs belongings⊠and of course I feel obligated.
Same. Hated it when that happened to me at an airport gate and some lady asked me to watch her carry on while she went to the restroom. They literally make announcements not to accept bags from strangers but I didnât want to be a jerk.
My husband is the INTJ and I'm the INFP, that contrast shown between them was like our marriage in a nutshell! Also now I will always know what's going on in his head while I'm talking to him - that beep sound was simply hilarious :D Great video as usual!
1:04 *"If you die, please cancel appointment"* đđđ
đ I was just saying ISFJ is completely off my dad would eventually erupt from suppressing his feelings for that long, and then ISFJ does but doesn't commit to expressing his anger. Perfect.
As an INTJ, this is exactly how I feel while waiting, so vivid!đ€Ł
INTP: Now why is it if I'm 15 minutes late for my appointment, they charge me a $50 fee, but they can keep me waiting here all day, and I just gotta live with it!
Now that's just facts!
~Ana
i love how we basically all go nuts in waiting rooms đ
I like Intp's take on the situation.
The INTJ part was too much relatable. I felt this in a spiritual level

I love that it says on the poster that if you die cancel the appointment đđđ
As an ISFP I can confirm, I really have books with me all the time. đ
The enfp would be coming in late and therefore get right in or wait for 1-2 minutes if not so late that the appointment is missed completely.
0:52 As an INFP, This was literally me this morning when I took my ct scan, a balance and hearing test because of dizziness. So far everything is normal
Nailed this one again Frank! As always love your work! Just a small request: I feel as though the ENFJ sketches could be explored with a bit more depth :)

No idea how you keep making content thatâs funnier than the last! Well done good sir đ©
Oh my gosh my MIL is an ESFJ and she CONSTANTLY talks about her Fitbit and how many steps she has. So perfect.
My ESFJ friend is very enthusiastic about getting our steps in hehe.
I'm an ESFJ and lost 60 pounds from using my fitbit and the app to keep track of calories. I was obsessed with my steps for a while... so this had me laughing. Yet, I'm too self-conscious to do steps in a waiting room.
My waiting room style is more like: "Why are you sitting so close to me in this empty room... get out of my bubble" (but I wouldn't want to hurt their feelings, so I wouldn't say anything to them), reading an entire book and/or beating several levels on a gaming app, and finally, "Oh my goodness, that person just coughed on me... are you kidding me??? Cover your cough... it's not that difficult. You learned that in Kindergarten, for crying out loud." (Also not said out loud because I don't want to embarrass them, or be mean... because I recognize and temper my tendency toward being overdramatic)... all while also being nervous about what the outcome of my appointment might be... I hate going to the doctor's office.

As an ESFP-t, I always tend to start conversations with random strangers when Iâm bored! Just cracking some jokes no one gets lol đ
As an INTP, Iâve said the EXACT same thing every time Iâve had to wait at the doctorâs or dentist đ
I'm an INFJ, but man can I relate to the INTJ!
I'm infp. This was very accurateđ
Everytime I'm waiting to get help I start overthinking why I'm there and would get panicattacks if I didn't take my pills for anxiety.
Times when I'm not aloud to eat or drink ANYTHING during a couple of hours before an appointment, not even swallow a pill and drink some water lead to me having a panicattack in the waiting room so they have to give me something through IV that will calm me down đ
This happened recently when I did gastroscopy and I was shaking so much in the waiting room that I could nearly hold the pen when I was writing down some answers which I had to do before I was going into to the other room.
Even though I had called days before to make sure nothing bad was going to happened and I had also called everyone I knew who had done it and read about it online, I had to ask the person in the reception , and the nurses and the doctor if they are really sure nothing bad will happen.. and they all said "it's gonna be fine".
But I know that things can ALWAYS get worse and when the anxiety kicks in I don't know if I can trust these people or the facts.
I was sitting there thinking "what if I'm the exception and might die. What if they they find out I have a deadly disease. What if I have to go into surgery because during this process when they push the camera down my throat into my stomach they might accidentally break my organs. Can I really trust these guys...." And it just went on and on until they gave me the good stuff through IV đ
I was awake all the time but I was at least calm đ
The way you nailed the INTJ is just amazing.
Man I love your persona of ISTP ahah, I dislike it when people sit close to me when there's 5 chairs empty đ

And now I have watched it, I loved it! Another great video!! đ€©
I'm an INTJ who worked as a veterinary assistant at an animal emergency hospital during the height of the pandemic, when everyone adopted pets while they were home. People had to wait in their cars with their pets at the time, we were ridiculously short staffed, and we were the only emergency hospital in the region that was still accepting patients. God, I worked a lot of overtime then and sometimes wouldn't get home until 2 AM after starting work at noon that day. Our longest wait times were 7-8 hours, and some people opted to leave their pets with us so they could go home until the pet could be seen. One poor lady had to do that because her oxygen tank had almost run out while she was waiting.
One night when the wait time was particularly bad, I had to carry a pet out to the car for its owner. People were milling around outside their cars and I saw everyone's head turn to look at me. The whole time I was out there was less than two minutes but I was just thinking, "Don't make eye contact, don't make eye contact...." I felt like I was about to get jumped. Luckily I only had one angry person ask me about their pet before I was able to beeline back inside the building.
Another time when people were allowed inside again, the wait times were so bad that everyone in the waiting room would clap when the next patient got called in to see the doctor.
All of this to say, FJ definitely nailed his impressions! Although it's surprising that a lot of people, even if they're annoyed about the wait time, usually wouldn't complain much or get angry about it, especially when they saw the lengths that I and my coworkers would go to to make them and their pets comfortable. I actually had one lady who snapped at me about the wait time apologize about it after I'd spent a solid 20 minutes getting a detailed history about her dog's presenting complaint. I think it really just has to do with making people understand that while the wait time sucks, it sucks because we're giving each owner and pet our complete attention and that once it's their turn, they will get that same high standard of care.
Glad you were still seeing animals during the pandemic đ€. The restrictions were very hard for pets too đŸđŸ
