This guy is absolutely brilliant, very talented. You have the horde of 80's synth artists, who are good in their own right, but Carpenter Brut is on an entirely different level...

He does his own thing, which is a bit hard-edged or heavy and sometimes brings in gross dubstep, but is very original, intelligent, and pretty clear about what he wants to do. There are also Mitch Murder and Dynatron, my two favorites, Powerglove (FC3 spinoff music), and to roughly complete the taste bases, Lazerhawk. Also, there is the Master Spy soundtrack by RAC.
Please add Jasper Byrne. I'd like to have Perturbator on the list but... the good old days of Night Driving Avenger and Sexualizer are never coming back.

It’s like a madman playing an abandoned organ during the apocalypse.
Imagine you survived an apocalypse and you think you're the only one. You wander through the streets and lands, searching for food, shelter and other survivors. Your hope for the latter fades more and more with every passing day. Then, as another fatal storm approaches, you search for a place to hide and stay until it is safe again. As you are arriving at an abandoned, mostly destroyed village, you suddenly hear a strange noise. It sounds like music, something you haven't heard for a long time. And it's coming from a church, the only building of the village that's still standing.

I like both in different ways. Perturbator is more horrific and weird while Carpenter is more tough-guy action movie style.

I like how 2:40 basically is a beat drop and an introduction to another buildup all in one (this also goes for 3:14 which is honestly the best part of the entire song). I like carpenter brut's songs because they tell a story and progress with different stages, with this song being no different

Aw man, that sucks XD My friend introduced me to it, it's really fun. I tricked a ton of people into thinking i was a joker, and then killed the majority of them.
When I first really got into carpenter brut, I actually didn’t like this song that much at all.
To say the least, my opinion has very much changed. This is easily one of my favorite songs of his, and I keep finding myself coming back to it. The whole feel of this is unlike any of his other tracks, and has much more of a “story” to it than most others. It feels kinda off or insane at the beginning, but then that badass drop kicks in at 2:40, and oh my god it’s the best thing ever. Then they slowly fade out and have this energetic tone till the rest of the song, I love it.
Overall, I love this song, and I continue to believe that carpenter brut is one of the most underrated artists ever.
