- Physician Associates (PAs) are health care professionals who have been trained to the medical model and work under the supervision of a consultant or GP.
Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust (SASH) is the largest employer of PAs in the region. PAs improve continuity of care on a ward level and enhance the medical workforce at SASH.

What work experience do you need before applying for a physician associate masters ?
Can PAs take 12 hour long day shifts , 3 days a week?
So the physician associate does the same things as NP's? I'm from Australia and I'm thinking about moving to Ireland or uk to study your PA degree, would it be possible to do so for me?. Thanks 😊
