I went to China, and went to MANY places especially some of the developing areas like Yulin and Dali and believe me, back in 2017 and 2018, MANY MANY roads were in very poor condition. Even the footpaths. Communist party only cares about the places where its members live and those places are very well maintained. Elsewhere its terrible. This is why Taiwan does not want China.

regardless, roads in china are still much much better in terms of quality than roads in india. no comparison here.
