Curiosity & Frustration In Identifying Wildflowers

Ever since I had this passion of identifying wildflowers, I have been having fun but tremendous frustration. Even with my Texas wildflower book or app on my phone to identify by a photo, it is very difficult to identify precisely. Texas Blue Weed (Helianthus ciliaris) and Rocky Mountain Zinnia (Zinnia grandiflora) are easy enough, you think, but cost me a week of frustration and tenacity. But, at the end of the day, I would say it is a satisfying hobby of mine that make me feel that I identify therefore I exist in peace.

For me, it is interesting that I have to change my attitude in life according to locality where the fauna are adjusting themself as well.

Very nice plants. It is interesting how different the light is in Colorado in comparison to Texas. It seemed brighter in Colorado. Interesting.

Nice observation! Yes, Colorado has more blue skies as well as distant views of mountains that make you feel in the wider space.
