Best of the bunch I watched - thanks for being sensible and not reckless. One clown on yt smashed it then cut it up. Shards and glass all over him the floor, etc. What a maroon - wife and I took down a 4 x8 this way, one piece ,no chipping.
Ha! I watched a lot of videos on how to do this (all men). This was the best one by far! Safety first...thank you for the dropcloth idea and reminding us to have one hand on the mirror! Thank you!
Just removed my mirror by following these instructions. Worked perfectly. Had to adjust the shim process due to right side of mirror against wall. Overall, great process.
Great tutorial. Thank you for sharing the info and your experience.
I’m going to be doing each of these tasks over the next six months so thank you for the lessons! Great videos
Thank you! It is time consuming to tackle these things on our own but so worth it. Good luck with yours!
Thank you for this! It was very helpful.
Great technique
This is an engineer's solution. I like it.
Thanks, nice work
This was so helpful!!
Thank you. Followed these extract steps to remove the mirror in our powder bath.
You're welcome, thank you! I'm glad this was helpful 😊
Thats a great safe way to remove a mirror!! Im trying this with mine.
Thank you! I am always so worried about shattering glass, better to be safe. I hope your mirror comes off easily!
@@TheNiftyNester . Thank you. My wife is very superstitious, so i dont need 7 years of bad luck!
Thank u!!
You're welcome, thank you!
Smart
Thank you!
I need to remove 2 broken mirror panels from the wardrobe door, my neighbour is a vet, I hope she can also rescue lifes from people.
Is there any advice for a mirror that is too close to the wall on one side to use shims on that side?
Can you get to the top and bottom? I couldn't get to the bottom but the other three sides were enough to break up the adhesive. There's also longer shims that you can find that might help to break up that adhesive without being able to get to that side.
@@TheNiftyNester Thank you! I can get to the top and one side. The bottom is right up against the back splash for the vanity. I don't need to preserve the mirror, so I'll just tape it up like you suggested, work slowly, and hope for the best!
actually the wallpaper looks nice lol
I actually loved the wallpaper! The wallpaper that was covering the walls when we moved in was this dark green and blue stripe pattern that was popular in the 80s. If this other wallpaper had been on the walls, I probably would've kept it.
