I was very surprised that Return of the 8th Circle Mage ended so soon. There were probably 3 different times where they introduced something to the story that I thought was going to end up being expanded upon but they ended up just being minor plot points. *Spoilers Ahead* I also feel like I missed the whole romance with the Princess until the end because it just felt very sudden, though it could have been for the fact I put the series on hold for a bit and forgot.
@@LokisturOfficial The return of 8th circle mage also deviated REALLY badly from the original Light Novel for it Whenever a manhwa deviates significantly from a light novel its ends up not being very well off afterwards most of the manhwas usually have a really really good lightnovel behind it and when they deviate it ends up sucking sometimes

Max level i agree, he's never surprised and is too OP. 2) Spear knight lost me when they time jumped cause he lost his original reason of revenge and the plot gets too complicated w/multiple characters. 3) Undefeatable Swordsman was sad to fall off cause all of a sudden every group is stronger than the next. 4) Return of crazy demon hasn't fallen off, its the slow burn, and they just introduce challenges here and there.
I highly recommend re-checking out Survival Story of a Sword king in a Fantasy World, it's a slow starter for sure and I dropped it twice initially, but the more recent arcs have elevated it so spectacularly.
Martial peak will always have a spechial place in my heart i really enjoy the fights and Yang Kai has to be the best MC in all manhwas [Opinion] he is ruthless smart confident and kind and doesnt act arogontly and the side characters are amazing as will HOWEVER there some missed up shit in this series for example the power system is confusing as hell and the Martial Dao as will but i mean there is not a perfect series
I love Max Level Hero Returns but I dont know exactly why, I see exactly what you are talking about he's like Superman but kryptonite doesnt work on him.

Not one fight has been won off of an unexplained giant power boost and its similar to infinite leveling murim in the MC being untalented however I think it is pulled off much better here. He has trauma but actually improves them instead of taking 1000 chapters to do it and they show heavy weight. The main side characters are also likeable. Basically id strongly recommend catching up to see if you like it as the main premise wasnt very introduced until a bit later in the story (i was also a bit bored in the first few chapters). Sorry for writing an essay like this tho I just clearly like the manhwa lol and ill keep commenting ur content is great!
Max level hero has returned : I read it weekly but I absolutely hate it. It's like you said it's nothing special and the initial appeal the story had is just overshadowed by the fact that the protagonist is invincible and has a solution for everything. It's still on my update list but honestly I force myself through the chapters every week Tales of demons and gods: I agree it was really good back then I started it 4-5 years ago but when we left the first world and went for the sects and the higher plane of existence it became really boring. Personally I like manhua's/manhwa's that take their time to make a proper world building and development but here it was really just a drag with we spend like 14 chapters in a classroom because he accidentally offends some random girl or another chapter where we introduce a new major force in the cultivation world that will be essential for the fight against the sage emperor (About whom we literally have 0 information and I understand that we will probably introduce him later in the story but having 0 infos about the greatest foe is kind of bad). And about the novel overall I mean with what we're currently doing in the manhua we're like 60 novel chapters away from catching up to the novel (Which has been on hiatus for the past 3 years now I think) and let 's just say (without spoiling) that you can see the lack of motivation for proper writing in the last 10 chapters. The undefeatable Swordsman: Personally I'm still enjoying the story especially with the war we're currently building up against the heavenly martial sect cause they are about to get so extremely Ganged up by woo-mun and his allies. But apart from that I enjoy the turn we've taken with the story ever since the climax in the heavenly demons tomb cause we made necessary sacrifices in order to push the MC beyond getting carried by the already strong presences in the Murim and ultimately while we're still doing it with a bit of humour you can kind of sense how we're slowly drifting towards the end of his journey to become the undefeatable swordsman. Star Martial God Technique: yeah the problem with that is that the writer dropped the novel some years ago and finally when the manhua catches up to where the novel supposedly ended he just jumped in in the production team and said:" hey guys I'm continuing this" ever since that the novel of tales of demons and gods stopped and he's been focusing on giving us the current nonsense. It's like you said it might have been a rushed ending with a lot of plot armour but the link between the end and the continuation is non existent. How does it make sense to say the MC and the demon lord both learned the ultimate arts and became the strongest beings in the universe just for it to mean in the continuation: by using that art you didn't use your powers but you just broke through the next realm. That was bullshit in another word that would mean in cultivation equivalent that the people in his world couldn't get past the foundation establishment stage.
I love the OP protagonist in max level hero Also tales of demons and gods protagonist and shen yue remind me of naruto and sasuke for some reason (appearance wise)
also The constellation that returned from hell. Went from a super fun read during his time in the abyss to a super boring and pointless 100 chapters that followed it. HUGE disappointment
I feel like undefeatable swordsman tried to introduce too much stuff in the plot at the same time killing characters, demon cult and everything else in the same arc
The arc is weird honestly, I was totally loving this until all the demon cult stuff. And these new characters with no hype slaughter a bunch of important characters.
Seoul Station Druid became some werewolf riding Twilight BS at one point that I just dropped it. The story is all over the place and there aren’t any characters I really liked, including the MC.
What turned me off with bow blade was the plot twist. I won’t spoil it in the comments but you probably know what I’m talking about it felt like the author just spit in my face I just couldn’t read it after that.
for me i think limit breaker fell off pretty quick, existence still has room to grow but i have had a dislike for it since chp 5, nine heavens swordsman had a predictable but tried and true backstory but felllllllllllllll all the way off when the mc got out in the world

You contradict yourself a lot in mahwa. Most of those series, you dislike because of the story but in your opinion SL is still one of the best manhwa. Even though I enjoyed SL as well, it was never about story. Everything aside from Sung jin woo and his shadows becomes so unimportant throughout the series but you say that other series are worse or even bad even though their systems are by far more complex then what SL has
Without a doubt, its art not science so opinions may vary but I often see SL as a bit of a special case because of its ability to excite the reader. SL, more than any other series managed passing and excitement better than pretty much anything else i’ve read which allowed to leverage what is in my opinion a rather badly written story (with a strong premise) to be far better than it should have been. So its less about complexity and more about how its used. Omniscient reader is a good example where complexity is used extremely well where tales of demons and gods is struggling to hold it all together because the world is too big. In the end its an opinion and overall my appreciation for it is deeply linked to my experience with it. Really appreciate the comment man!
