Check out our stay at Jim Hogg Campground during our visit to Georgetown Texas. This campground sits right on Georgetown Lake with beautiful sunset & sunrise views every day. We loved this campground so much we actually extended our stay by 3 days & ended up moving sites. While our new site didn't have lake views, it was a double site (D69) which had a larger paved pad which gave us more room to enjoy. This is a COE campground that is definitely showing it's age. There is no playground, no camp store & the shower house isn't anything to write home about. With all that being said, we paid $37/night for a lakeview site & plan to return when we visit Georgetown in the future! Definitely check out Jim Hogg Campground if you're visiting Georgetown Texas - we loved it!
