Wish I'd known about this before purchasing the SF1000, that Hub is a great invention to use aftermarket wheels! Double Clutch feature and customizable dash are very cool!
Thank you Vyper!! I agree! I wouldn’t have thought adding a aftermarket wheel to my rig would have been possible, but thankfully the hub is a life saver!! The SF1000 is still a nice wheel! One of my teammates loved his before he switched from Thrustmaster to Fanatec!

Dimitris my bro! Thank you so much for the kind words, it means a lot to me man, thank you! Yeah sim racing can be very confusing to to get into! There's so many pedals, wheels, wheel bases on the market! Direct drive, load cell! If you have a budget on how much you want to spend then thats always a good starting point. Some brands like Fanatec do a wheel, pedal and wheel base bundle too so you can buy them all in one as a package! I also recommend @BoostedMedia and @DannyLeeRacing -> these are both very good channels that also have access and review a lot of sim racing equipment! But if have any questions or want a bit of help, I'm also here my friend! Once you get into sim racing you'll love it! You won't have time for anything else haha😄😎

Great video mate! Not sure if you covered this or not (my bad for not being attentive enough) but can the buttons be mapped? eg. Can I map the talk button to enable push to talk in Discord?

I'm planning to get this wheel next year. I"m kind of picky this way, but was a little disappointed to see that it looks like your rev limiter
LEDs are lined up a little wonky.

Yooo Koeingsegg!! I considered it at one point, but the dimensions are slightly different, so given my replica is skinnier than the original the whole sticker wouldnt fit :'( -> I've replaced it with something just as fancy, so perhaps I will do a review on that one too!
What are your thoughts on the revised V-PF1? It has smaller LEDs. I was looking forward to this wheel, but not sure I'd like the smaller rev limiter lights.

Hey Chiz! Thanks for the comment - Yeah I’ve seen some debate on the discord about the LED lights too! Thankfully if you really like the original LEDs they’ve confirmed they can make them to that specification so at least now you have the option!🙌🏾

Are the grips softer or stiff?
I would describe them as a stiff feel! I race with them using my bare hands, instead of using gloves and they’re very comfortable and grippy!

They even included "magic" button at the back, the only thing that's really missing is two more thumb encoders, maybe VPG guys will add it in V2.

Hi, how do you map every function that you have on this wheel into a game?
Hi there! So when it comes to the buttons - I use the in game settings to map the functions and controls I want in! As for the dashboard, the wheel uses a Nextion display which has been programmed with all the sims and uses the ingame telemetry whilst sim hub is running to bring up the dashboard, fuel alerts, pitstop limiter, balance changes, lap times etc etc! Whenever a new sim/game gets released then the developers release patches and new dashboards which can be downloaded onto the wheels dashboard software!
@@amgdenz and how you map in Game different functions like race, quali etc. I want to map this on my fanatec wheel and you have many options that I don’t have in game (I play assetto corsa and iracing)
can it use moza or simucube wheel bases?
ThePrussianBoi2573 my apologies for the late response my friend! The good news I have is that the wheel is indeed compatible with both Moza and Simucube wheel bases! This is good news because I think my next upgrade would be a Simucube Pro 2! Which one are looking forward to most out of the Moza and Simucube?
can u use this on ps5?
Unfortunately it only works with PC - this is because the dashboard is powered by the telemetry in that simhub pc software I showed in the video!
Hopefully they will make something compatible for console in the future!

Hey Qwin! Thank you for checking out the video! There’s no silly questions around here bro! We’re always learning😎 Yes the rotary encoders can be used to toggle information on the dash or the sim left, right, down and also up! Really handy for making fine adjustments to balance of the car and getting other sources of information like fuel burned per lap🔥
