Is there any lens you want Yongnuo to create for your Nikon Z camera?
As always , focal length for for Fullframe or DX like viltrox .
Hi there, the product name of a lens for an interchangeable lens camera is pretty much always the actual focal length. It doesn't matter if it's for full frame for APSC (DX)
@@cangpastrana2389 think you mix up 7artisan with viltrox, viltrox is solid Thier 85 1.8 looks better and render bokeh better than nikon 1.8s in my opinion but Nikon is better quality overall coma, CA, sharpness etc. but ugly and overpriced
Good review. I purchased the Viltrox lens.I use it for video. Must say, 99% of people will not notice the faults mentioned here. The only thing that I think these lenses are missing - is In-Lens-Stabilization. I think at this stage of digital photo / video graphy, we got spoiled by this feature and expect to have it in every lens. Without stabilization, video is a shaky. However, if you use gimbal or shoot on tripod, stabilization becomes zero issue. Highly recommend. Thank you
The difference in the quality of Viltrox lenses is like a lottery, as is the reliability of the software, which may be problematic as in the case of 23mm. However, it is worth choosing the Yongnuo YN 50mm f/1.8 because it has a great advantage in terms of build quality and is repeatable.
Great honest review! A 135mm f/1.8 or f/2 would be great!
Thanks yes an af 135 z lens is really requested by a lot of people
Thanks for another awesome review, Richard.
Thank you very much my friend
probably time to say good bye to my D700+50mm 1.8D combo 🤪, looking to upgrade to Z5 and this very lens
It would be great comparing it to the nikon lens 😊
Yes I agree. Unfortunately it's not always easy to gather all the lenses I want to compare with :(
Would you say this is a better option than the 50mm1.8G via the FTZ on a Z6ii. Don't want to splurge on the 50mm Z so looking for the best possible affordable alternative.
I would say yes. The autofocus is better and more quiet and image quality is probably better or at least as good as the 50 1.8G i would guess
Thank for you opinion 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
solid actionable information!
Thank you very much Bill!
Спасибо за такой качественный обзор!
Thank you for watching :)
Do you think this lens would be better or is it better to take a 40mm z f2 and have 10mm less? because the price of this lens is larger than the 40mm z lens, and the focal aperture is only 0.2 more open...
40mm f/2 and 50mm f/1.8 would be quite similar in a lot of way. But if you want the more shallow depth of field effect, the extra 10mm and slightly faster aperture does give you that more
👍
I can't seem to figure out of these lenses are for full-frame sensors or not?
It's a full frame lens :)
@@TheRealRichardWong Thank you!
You rock Richard!
Thank you Peter you rock too!
Great review, I’ll have to paint over that ugly logo on the lens if I get it hahaha hope that autofocus gets an firmware update thou
Thanks for watching Johny
Thanks. This is too expensive I think. Viltrox is much better all around for $20 more. If this was around $200-$250, would be worth it but not at its current price.
I didn't understand half of what he said.
