Dude, I give you a 10/10 for ingenuity on just the grape-stoppers alone!
Thanks! Grapes work.... lol
Best tip ever. Can’t wait to replace my coolant tank now lol
Thats a hack of some tough grapes!! I liked the video
I did actually look at the sensor myself without being scared because you empowered me to try and understand what the hell was going on :)))))
That's awesome! Cars are a complex system with many simple parts.
Very helpful, thanks mate from a bloke in Australia.
Thanks so much for your remarkable knowledge and helping us guys in saving heaps of money 👌
Thank you sir for your videos! I'm learning a lot!
Great video bro very detailed keep up the good work
Hi there I guess the young man at Mercedes left the lid off and they said there was a bubble
They did fix it because of human era and the message went away
So grateful for your channel
You make it all look so simple which I know it isn’t. Thank you, thank you for being here for all of us
Very useful information. Thanks for sharing.
Hi do you have videos change coolant fluid of 2009 Mercedes Benz GL 450 ? Thank you
Very good video. Thank you.
Thanks very informative video
thank you & you have cooling face. keep it up
Very good informative video. Thanks for sharing. Helped to cover the thermostat part. i have 2010 ML550, ans got P0128 code, just wanted to know if i should check coolant sensor before going for coolant thermostat?/where exactly this sensor is located? If i can have a diagram or picture to locate it so that i can replace it. Appreciate your help!"
Very helpful thank you
Thx!!
Very helpful! I'm planning to use a similar reservoir in a project and I was wondering how to turn a custom light on when the reservoir gets too low. Since I need to turn a light on when resistance becomes infinite, I'm thinking of using a relay or MOSFET that is normally on, and using the level sensor as the switch line. So when there is coolant, it will turn the light off. Coolant drops too low, relay returns to normal state of on, and turns on the light. My only concern is passing current through the coolant. As long as I put the relay on the positive line to the sensor leads, I should be fine and not cause electrolysis, right? Thanks for any thoughts!
Thank you!!!!
well explained!
Excellent work, thanks !
My pleasure! Which year and model?
@@iRepairAutos ML320, in my case the coolant was just below the sensor, didn't realise It had to be quite that full, but fill it I did, and the warning vanished
How are you going to test within pulling the whp thing out? Surely there is a way to do a test without going to this much trouble.
My 2001 CLK 320 has no pressure in the upper and lower radiator hose but it does not run hot can you tell me some suggestions on how to fix it or what is wrong
hello, I've been following you for a while ... your videos are always very useful ... keep it up ... 😊
Thanks for watching and the kind words.
Not clear when reservoir is full it should read 12.40 when empty should read zero?
Really easy for me to understand
I did all you said and my message is still coming on
Looking at sensor now
Did you find the culprit?
Hello from Germany.
Cool Videos and very good explained.
Is this Switch working the Opposit way AS the one from Mercedes W211???
The W211 one is in closed Position, when the Reservoir is empty and when it is full, the Switch is Open and the current runs trough the resistor.
The ML - SWITCH Looks Like to be closed when the Reservoir is full and Open when it is empty.
Am i right?!?
Thank you and sorry for my english.
Hi. Im having the same problem. Coolant level is perfect. Connection wires are good. Could it be my sensor. My car is 2008 e350. And thank you
I have a 2012 S550 W221 and have replaced the resiover tank due to coolant leaks. Now I have the tube on top of the manifold with a T broken and infront of the engine as welll. Very brittle and believe they are going to intercoolers. Im not a professional mechanic and can provide any needed information or pictures. Can I get help to buy the right parts and best way to replace ? Happy to pay for your time. What is the best way to communicate ? I couldn't find a button on you tube to send a PM
Lol 😆 grapes 🍇 such an islander..
Im experiencing this too until i checked yesterday and its full
Hey can you show me how to add power steering to the cls550 2009
I change new reservatior same warning light
my 06 e350 fan sounds like a turbin engine when the car is running can u tell me why plz
Couldn’t you do a continuity test instead of using a battery? Thanks
agree
Yes that would work too. Continuity means full.
Thanks Keith! I had this issue for several months now. Question: I have an 2007 and a 2009 GL450 would parts from the 07 fit on my 09 like hood/rear bumper ect... thanks
Yes those parts should fit. However there might be slight differences in the bumper. For example beck up sensors may be on one and not the other. Etc.
@@iRepairAutos ok thanks
I have Ml.500.2006 it says drive to the work shop.. Don't change gears. does anyone know why.
What COOLANT should I use
Use the same one (color) that is in it now. You're not suppose to mix them.
Question please S430 2000 Mercedes Benz everything lights up turn key want start liked at option on you tube not it stating a starter but to hard to out on myself do you text email NEED YOUR help everything I've fixed cane from your videos
Can anyone answer me how to clean textile air ducts without any damage?
W211 doesn't have the white line
You're the illest bro! Unfortunately, I'm switching back to bmw. Hopefully, you have video on those as well.
3:32 Noo the grape
Do you eat the grapes after?
Lol. No, i wouldn't advise it.
Hi! I found oil in there. What does it mean?
How much oil? It means that your oil cooler/coolant cooler (same unit) has an internal leak. Most likely the gasket is gone. I have a video on this: czcams.com/video/o1CPtsoGHFk/video.html
@@iRepairAutos a lot but it wasn't the gasket. The mechanic told me it was destroyed the coolant and the pipes but he fixed it and now no oil leak in there. Thanks a lot for the answer. Greetings from Greece
Grapes.🤣
