This is my first trip since beginning my study abroad program in Japan in January, and I'm so excited to be able to share it with you! :)

Team Lab was so cool! There were so many gacha machines for anything. I grabbed a Dennys one because it was so odd and random to me 😂 that capsule hotel looks fun. Good video!!

Stunning looking exibit. I've seen someone else post bits of it, but your camera does it much better justice. Whipped cream is my 2nd favorite sweet to eat after caramel, but holy smokes, that's too much for even me to go with pancakes.
Thank you! ✨✨ I agree that those pancakes were crazy! They’re meant to look like anime food, so it makes sense they they don’t look like something you’d want to eat every day. I didn’t eat all the whipped cream, but the pancakes were so good!!

Hello again Anabeth; thank you for reaching out and for your kind words! ☺️ Yes, I did buy a SIM card, which were sold at my university during our first two days here. Some people stayed on or bought international phone plans, and it sounds like a SIM card is the cheaper option. I think mine is Sunrise-Net but there are various brands. See if they’ll be sold at your university, and if not, you can find them at the airport! With my SIM card I can FaceTime and make FaceTime phone calls which is nice, but the time difference can be a little tough! I try to talk to friends and family before I go to sleep, because they’re just waking up! 😂

@@xpickchu9697 oooh exciting! When I travel I usually just go on booking.com and look for hostels and capsule hotels in the area. In Tokyo, I stayed in an awesome capsule hotel called Nine Hours Kanda, which is in walking distance from Akihabara. I recently made a video on it and gave a full tour if you want to check it out ☺️ It was only $23/night. A teamLab planets ticket is also about $23 (3,200 yen, but the price is going to increase to 3,500 soon)

I’m not sure your gender, but there are plenty of women-only, men-only, and mixed-gender hostels and capsule hotels in Tokyo!! A great option of you want to save money, like I do 🫶
