    We've created an update for this build! The PoB in this video's description is updated, and there are tons of extra notes based on the 3.24 Patch notes.
    You can find the updated video here: czcams.com/video/lIewlI-TJ1Y/video.html
    Here's the tl;dr version:
    TR PF still functions identically as a league starter, with no nerfs until you approach the late stages of endgame farming, as in "I've got my 4 Voidstones, let's farm ultra-juiced content."
    Sticking with Eldritch Battery will keep this build functioning more or less identically. Devouring Diadem is back on the menu!
    Transitioning out of EB and into a Manaforged Arrows setup will be more difficult, and will require dropping Purity of Elements & achieving Ailment immunity with either Stormshroud and Shock Avoidance from flask/boots or Ancestral Vision and Chance to Avoid Ailments from boots.
    Also, the new belt from Uber Shaper is very good!

      What do you think about the removal of flask reduced cost of skill craft in addition to 3-5% reduced cost on jewels to solve mana ?

    • @PathofEvening
      @PathofEvening  Před 5 měsíci +2

      @@GladiatUnispect It's bad for a lot of builds, including this one. Builds that use Leech to sustain their mana got a huge indirect buff. That flask modifier has been a bandage on mana issues for a really long time, and it should probably have been removed, but mana issues should also be alleviated in some other way. Hopefully there is a change planned for them, but that doesn't seem like it's happening in this patch.
      Eldritch Battery will still work to solve mana from league start up through 4 Voidstones and into endgame farming, but the super high-end version of this build absolutely took a beating with this change.

      Thanks for the reply, I'm impatient for the updated version ! Would you consider a word on the two different way to build late game auras as it seems to be on Poe ninja ? ( I mean Phys to ele convertion with old ele flask and purity of element and petrified blood VS rare chest with mana reserv efficiency + enlighten with grace and determ and basalt + jade flask) Thanks a lot for the content on your channel, I'm glad I've found it!

      @@PathofEvening totems back on the menu :(

    • @PathofEvening
      @PathofEvening  Před 5 měsíci +1

      @@leachim66 Unfortunately correct. Devouring Diadem/EB is by far the easiest way to fix mana for self-cast TR, and that has killed plenty of Uber bosses, so it's functional, but it will mean using Focused Ballista Totems, which are annoying. They're not as annoying as a full Ballista TR PF setup, but trying to go for the current state of Manaforged Arrows super-smoothness is a lot more taxing on gear now, and it completely removes the possibility of using a Divine Blessing link.

Really enjoyed it, but had trouble overcoming the plateaus i reached on champion, felt the ceiling came too soon, and found the totems to feel useless. But just wanted to say i really appreciate your videos and how informative they are. You have great delivery. Its in depth, articulate, and organized. I wish I had found you before starting my TR Champ, but if i can't find something else to play that's not too confusing your my backup. looking forward to your updated build guide for solving the mana nerf regardless. @PathofEvening  Před 5 měsíci

      Thank you! TR Champ is fun, bit of a throwback to the days before the Atlas Passive tree. The only TR setup that never really felt right was with old Trickster, but Pathfinder is definitely at an advantage over the rest of Ascendancy options right now. Flasks just give you so much power and versatility, and free Wither on hit is so huge.
      We're editing the update literally right now, it should be out pretty soon.

    Amazing vid, but I wanted to ask a couple of questions
    1-how do you think the removal of -% mana cost from flasks will affect this build?
    2-the nerf to elemental resistance rolls on flask will make it way harder to build or is just a slight annoyance?
    Thanks in advance

    • @PathofEvening
      @PathofEvening  Před 5 měsíci +1

      It doesn't have any impact until the endgame version of the build, and it is extremely fixable. We're working on an update to talk about how the endgame version changes!
      The nerf to flasks is harder on builds that were running all three elemental resistance flasks. It is a drop in defense against Lightning damage, but not too bad, tbh!

    What do you think about incoming flask changes? Do you think it is a nerf to high end pathfinder?

    • @PathofEvening
      @PathofEvening  Před 5 měsíci

      It's definitely a nerf, but for this build it's only about a loss of 2-4% phys max hit, which is pretty manageable. The drop in ele defenses is more noticeable, but since we weren't running ruby flasks before the nerf and didn't have any problems surviving fire damage, it should be fine.
      All told, it's probably more of a nerf for other PF builds than this one. We were ahead of the curve!

    What are manaforged arrows even used with? Your guide says "as soon as you fix your mana without it [EB] drop it [EB] and swap to manaforged arrows."
    maybe this guide isn't beginner friendly, but i thought manaforged arrows was used with frenzy just to free up a keybind and make Frenzy proc automatically with mfa?
    Also, you say "whenever possible you want to use Bloodrage whenever you are able." Again, to someone who is new and probably in the wrong guide, when is that? What do I use that allows me to safely use Bloodrage without my health running out? Is there a safe life regen softcap that counters the Bloodrage effect? ty

    • @PathofEvening
      @PathofEvening  Před 5 měsíci +2

      Manaforged Arrows can be used as a second damage link, but they're not as effective since you'll need to devote one support gem to MA, and a second to Lifetap to bring the mana cost low enough for it to trigger often. Using MA to trigger Frenzy, Toxic Rain of Withering, and Ensnaring Arrow with GMP & Culling Strike is the ideal setup, and will probably add more real damage value than anything else.
      Your life flask will counteract Blood Frenzy, it's more about freeing up keybind/socket space for it. Also, if you're farming Blue Altars, the Frenzy Charge downside can zero out all of your defenses (armour/evasion/ES), so you want to be careful of that from both Frenzy & Blood Frenzy (which can grant Frenzy Charges on kill).

    Nice, I recently discovered your videos after deciding I would league start TR. Just a question since I'm returning after a several league absence and crafting was never my strong suit: does the Veiled Orb change (or any of the other recently announced changes) affect how we craft any of our equipment or can we still follow your TR gear crafting video pretty much step by step? Thanks!

    • @PathofEvening
      @PathofEvening  Před 5 měsíci +2

      For a lot of people, the Veiled Orb change did screw with their mid-level boots strategy, but Zeal Essence spam was already our approach, so we were ahead of the curve on that one!
      Crafting helms and gloves with +2 Level of AoE Skill Gems is slightly different, since you'll want to get suffixes set up, then Lock Suffixes and Veiled Orb instead of Veiled Chaos, but in this case it's arguably just better, since you won't run the risk of getting all your prefixes locked up by bad random mods.
      Tl;dr, the Veiled Orb change was a buff for us!

    I'm assuming you craft every piece of gear, unless it's just cheaper to buy based on your previous videos. You should also consider making a video about what content you tackle on League Start after hitting maps essence's first etc when do you switch to what and so on, if you have been starting this build every league etc that would be informative insight, based on crafting videos such as priorities on the Atlas tree and map progression for faster crafting and gear upgrades etc up to day 3 maybe afterwards everyone is doing whats meta . Great video, I'm thinking of starting this. If your priority is simply clearing Atlas and generating the most profit per hour that's also understandable :)

    1/ After 10act, I'm gonna do some heist and then farming blight; if I have 20c or 1div, what should I invest first?
    2/ I know in the lightning arrow or tornado shot (bow build), bow and quiver are most important, For, if we have 100div, then 50div for bow and 30 for quiver, I think, but the toxic rain is different.
    3/I checked the pob, and I saw leveling gear. Can I use leveling gear until lv90 and in t14-t16 to farm some deli orb???? If not, then what should I invest?
    4/Can u do some video about crafting the gear in endgame and mageblood version special is the ring and helmet, ty.

Getting a Quill Rain is a great first step, then buying a full set of Porcupine div cards and rolling them with Essences of Dread is your next big weapon upgrade.

    how do you deal with ES recovery because i don't see any ES regen on your belt or any gears thanks!

    • @PathofEvening
      @PathofEvening  Před 5 měsíci

      There are a few approaches. You can use ES regen on belt for early gearing. This works out fairly well. You can also just use more gear that has ES on it. Having a helm with ES is particularly useful, since you can use the 100% Increased ES from Helm mastery to increase the size of your ES pool by a lot.
      The best approach long-term is to reduce your mana costs, and this mostly comes from crafting "-X mana cost of non-channeling skills" ring prefixes (and amulet, potentially) and using a "Reduced Cost of Skills" flask suffix. Because of this, Betrayal is a really good early strategy, since you want to find and unveil Elreon rings and Cinderswallow Urns from Catarina to unlock both of those crafting recipes.

    What do you think of Rain of Arrows instead of Toxic rain? do you think it is a worse league starter or kind of similar? Also i was thinking of SS Champion league start but that build was pretty dependant on uniques, are uniques are a struggle to get in league start?

    • @PathofEvening
      @PathofEvening  Před 5 měsíci +1

      RoA works and has a similar gameplay loop, but the gearing is extremely different. It scales much more like a normal attack-based build, whereas Toxic Rain scales more like a spell, relying heavily on gem levels to get a lot of the build's damage.
      Toxic Rain has a lot of advantages. It's able to get up to full strength more quickly, since a best-in-slot TR bow is deterministically craftable for only 10 divines or so. Toxic Rain is all Chaos damage, so there's also no issues with reflect. You also don't need any accuracy to deal damage with Toxic Rain.
      Toxic Rain has some downsides, as well. It has more rampup in its damage, so it's not as good at dealing with enemies that move around really often, like Uber Bosses. Toxic Rain also has the strict 39% AoE requirement, which is more limiting than Rain of Arrows.
      As for getting uniques on league start, that really depends on which ones they are. Steel Champ is really strong with or without uniques, so it should absolutely be a good league starter.

    • @VORTEKMusic
      @VORTEKMusic Před 5 měsíci

      RoA can be a very useful leaguestarter aswell - but as said: heavily scales with weapon-damage and other damage sources, while toxic rain just levels with you and gets more and more damage, thus its possible to clear all campaign with a blue short bow (1.5 base attackspeed) with only one attackspeed craft on it.
      if you want to look further into RoA i can suggest you fuzzy duckzy's videos he has really detailed guides.
      personally i would only play RoA over TR when i want to transition into Tornado Shot or other elemental bow skills later on.

    Is it good for new players in hardcore? How do I make it safer for HC in league start?

    • @PathofEvening
      @PathofEvening  Před 5 měsíci

      We don't really play HC much, but TR PF is a good hardcore setup that a lot of players have used effectively. For HC, going with both Grace and Determination is a really common, safe approach. It's not as safe for super-juiced, speedy softcore play, but for the more slow-paced, methodical approach of hardcore, it's great. Petrified Blood can also work well.
      To recommend some potential swaps: Running all three Ele Res flasks is really common in HC. Ele Res Flasks are being slightly nerfed in 3.24, but that setup will still be strong. It will require sacrificing either the Silver or Quicksilver Flask, but that's worth it to stay alive. Defiance of Destiny, if you can get one, is incredibly powerful for staying alive when taking a large number of hits. That item is extremely valuable in HC, so managing to get your hands on one would be a big accomplishment, and a huge boost to the build!

    • @PathofEvening
      @PathofEvening  Před 5 měsíci

      As an added note: Hardcore is pretty unforgiving to new players! The best approach is always to play things safe. Make sure you're overleveled for every zone throughout the campaign, have more life flasks available than you think you might need, and never try to bite off more than you can chew!

People are skipping and thinking they understand something as it is not their first season and then you see the same people struggling later on or my personal favourite "I have life and I'm not elitist" so they will spend 300h on something that is manageable in 30h and then cry that they don't have a time while they wasted more than you played whole season ;D

      Petrified Blood works well if you're comfortable with the playstyle. You can get ailment immunity elsewhere.
      You don't need accuracy for Frenzy, because you're not relying on it to hit for DPS, just to maintain charges, and even with low accuracy, it still hits often enough to maintain full charges easily!

    • @PathofEvening
      @PathofEvening  Před 5 měsíci +1

      It's really good. Not Mageblood level, but very good. It comes from Uber Shaper, so it won't be easy to get or cheap to buy, but it's a REAL nice chase item.
      Haven't played with it in PoB yet, but it could realistically put you in the 2500+ life/sec range with a good life flask.

    • @PathofEvening
      @PathofEvening  Před 5 měsíci +1

      It does, but only at the high end of gearing. You can stick with Eldritch Battery forever. Literally killed Ubers using EB, so it's not the end of the world. It's still possible to fix mana and run Manaforged Arrows eventually, but it's probably too expensive (both in terms of currency and opportunity cost) to be worth playing in 3.24.

      @@PathofEvening Is lion pelt the best base helmet?

    • @PathofEvening
      @PathofEvening  Před 5 měsíci +1

      That depends on whether you're using EB or mana. If mana, Lion Pelt is still BiS. If you're using EB, you'll want a helm with ES. An ES base will give more ES (obviously), but you won't be able to get spell suppression on it, and you won't be able to use the evasion mastery that grants 15% suppress chance. An Evasion/ES base will still allow you to get suppression, but it will provide less ES, which makes fixing mana with EB harder.
      Devouring Diadem works really, really well as an intermediate helmet.
