Sounds like my DM to our bard in one side quest. I ended up just tagging along with him for his quest just for the heck of it. This was literally our DM not having enough time to plan a full session.
Honesty I wish they included her song on the OST. It's a beautiful rendition of the Main Theme and I wish I could hear it in its full glory.

I swear this has to be the most tedious quest in the game. It's just navigating through menus every 7-10 minutes. And you need 99 of each stamp, are you joking?

I agree. I play RPGs as my primary/fave genre and it's been a long time since I ran across such an overdrawn, bs sidequest like this.
The Praxis/Theory questline was nothing compared to this blatant middle finger to those somewhat invested above the average player.
(As a side note, I haven't downloaded the most recent patch considering the March ng+, etc. patch is coming, and I've played about 250 hours so far.)
good news mate this quest now takes only 6 stamps to complete I think? had no idea it would take 99 before 1.2.0

Unfortunately for me, the damage was done and I completed the quest prior to the newest patch update (+game, etc.). For all the effort, it sure didn't pay off much anyway you slice it-just about (imo).

In the game, you can buy them in the Torigoth market area at Soniarus Music next to the Cmalaf Artwork shop.
If you mean in real life, I'd look it up online. Probably more than 180g like in the game, I would assume. :-p

6 mate for rank 3 affinity, 9 for rank 4 and a fan base of 5000 are needed for rank 5

You need at least 75 of each stamp to unlock the lvl 5 merc mission for her in the patch

1year later, Ursula is still one of my favorite blades but such a annoying quest.
I had Ursula on Nia at the beginning of my playthrough but I switched her over to Rex and never used her *Oof*

Best healer, I agree, but worse time, effort and resources involved to boost to max affinity (imo).
It was like trying to max out Aeris/Aerith in FF7 before she was killed off, but more wasteful and time comsumtive.
There are some trade-offs that help, like tagging in blades you want to boost skills with, time for Tiger! Tiger!, salvaging, short blade affinity quests and the occasional break-up merc quests for the mission, but those are band-aids to this poorly paced quest... one I consider one of the worst in any RPG I've played since the late 80's to the present day.

How do you get the level 3 and 4 merc lessons in the chart because I have done one and two so many times and I never get a result
So the main gimmick is doing merc missions with Ursula till you reach necessary amount to progress. Might be tedious but I imagine big exp yield once stacked up. 9:44 would the options matter? 12:49 I spoke too soon about exp stack but sp stack will do. 19:17 reading the description, there is no more need for 99 stamps but how much? 19:12-19:49 Wow must have been a pain getting all those stamps to the point where you didn't finish this affinity quest till chapter 8. 30:00 Another affinity quest tied with the "Theory and Praxis" affinity quest for heartwarming.

I'm having trouble unlocking this quest in ng+, i did the hth in uraya but the torigoth scene won't trigger again
nvm just found out why, you'll need the story blades equipped to trigger the quest
I’ve tried activating this quest too many times. I have all story blades equipped, am going at night, and have done the H2H. Vahndam has just died. Does anyone know why the quest is not triggering?

My game must be bugged. I have 5 stamps of all three of the types and I did the costume Merc mission and that stupid ass nopon says I'm only at lvl 3

i wouldn't know honestly cause i'm doing this quest currently and i've collected a total of 7 stamps each and still it thinks i haven't done enough, i really don't understand this quest at all
1:20 They could've written it to say that the Gormotti girl heard Rex say that Ursula was a musician. Otherwise, Ursula doesn't "look like" a musician at all. Or maybe she could've been like, "Hey, you look like Elsa from the movie, Frozen! Are you a singer, Miss? Could you sing 'Let It Go' for me?"
Ursula was one of my first blade I got. Im almost done with the game and I'm nit even close to finishing her quest. One of the worst quest I've ever done
My quest log says report to Tipltapi in Ruimbletum Canteen in Argentum but he won’t appear
Is Ursula in your active party? must be an equipped active blade. Or maybe change the time to either noon or midnight.

I categorically disagree about all the hate. Ursula is the most helpful Blade in the game.
This is a LONG side quest that teaches us the importance of Merc Missions. Would you rather grind all the Rare Blades and Common Blades affinity charts MANUALLY, or would you rather just grab a few Love Sources and let Ursula help out?
So her quest line got completely fucked up for me. I started NG+ with the intention to just do her grind while playing the game again, but I did it before speaking to the Nopon at Torigoth. Now he doesn't appear there, I have no merc missions to do for her, and I can't seem to restart the quest at the fountain.
saiyangodbroly26 Yeah I’ve read some shit online that says if you started her quest before NG+ but didn’t finish it, then you are fucked. Hopefully they fix that shit. And Nintendo needs to fkn not being able to save to the sd. This one save slot is bullshit.
I actually figured it out. NG+ seems to restart all quests even blade quests. But because the node that explains how to start the quest was already filled out from NG, I didn't remember where to sleep to see the heart-to-heart and subsequently start the quest. So if you start blade quests and then begin NG+ before finishing them you'll have to look up exactly how to start that quest again because the affinity chart will no longer tell you, which is bs.
Ursula was my first rare blade. I hate this side quest so much because the other lessons wont show up

It’s not like you need to halt all progress in the story to do it or anything. Just be vigilant about it and don’t stress.

Pretty sure getting 99 of each stamp isn't enough. You need to get up to 5000 fans according to Tipitapi. How exactly do you get more, just by doing the Pink Merc Missions for Ursula?
Each Stamp gives you fans. 5000 fans would be about 99/99/70 stamps. With the Stamps you also unlock concerts, that give you more fans.
That's definitely not true, I got to 99 of each stamp and only had 1500 fans or so XD

Maybe you aren't far enough in the story or maybe you haven't done any concerts or maybe your game is bugged.
I've beaten the game, but my point is you didn't really specify at first or in the video that you needed to do the concerts to get 5000 fans, you only said 99/99/70 of each stamp was needed XD I got 99 of each and was no where close to 5000 without the concerts, so I just did them and I was fine.

@@onlyyou1974 I have great news! I think I have figured it out! There is a condition that must be met. To keep it spoiler free, you cannot do this quest in chapter 7 !! If U R on chapter 7 like me, it is not possible. Wait until u complete the chapter 7 and get back the required thing u need. We actually cannot do any blasde affnity quests from what I have been reading in chapter 8. I am nearly done chapoter 7, In Will report back if all is well right at the beginning of 8 or not.

You have to keep doing lesson missions until some random missions pop up involving public performances that's when the advance lessons start there's about five each.

Frizer I looke everywhere, but where ist thr heart-to-heart? In Argentum is nothing...
First : make sure that ursula is on your team first. Second : go sleep at the inn in uraya in the merc camp. and when you wake up , ursula will tell you that she wants to go somewhere, and this is where you can do the heart to heart now, the heart to heart is located in the stomach , at the cobalt cliffs. i hope it was useful.
