Great video. Helped us decide to stay at the Palace vs the Santa Fe. Sadly, we were suppose to go on Oct. 21st but Hurricane Norma cancelled our flights. Going now in December. Question on the pools.... any nearby restrooms? Hate to have to hoof it all the way to our room when needed. Thanks again for the video.
Hi Kim 👋🏽 I’m so happy the video was helpful. Unfortunately the bathrooms are quite far from the pools. It was one of the cons for a resort that size.

Love the video! It was very helpful. Was there a white party at the resort? I saw there was lots to do, but was the atmosphere chill or was it like a party vibe? I am hoping for a combo of the two.
Thank you for watching the video! Yes there is a balance of both vibes. Depending on the length of your stay there are several parties to attend(I.e pink, neon, white, pool and jungle). During our stay there was a pink party. They seem to take place at Santa Fe.

Thank you for watching. Yes it was nice to have access to the other properties so you can switch it up some days. For our group the rooms were not ready until 1pm for some people and even later in the afternoon for 1 couple. I hope yours is ready earlier.
Great video! I am going next week to the Riu Santa Fe and have been considering upgrading to the Riu Palace Cabo instead. Can you give me any pros or cons to one of them vs the other? Hi Tracey thanks for watching. If you like to party by the pool then the Santa Fe is for you. If you want to lounge by the pool or relax by the beach then you should upgrade to The Palace. The food and drinks are the same at both resorts. Was disappointed by how old the room decor was at the Palace. The Santa Fe is definitely more modern, you see it in the common areas and rooms. Keep in mind if you are staying at the Palace you can go to any resort during your stay.
It's only empty because we went out very early in the morning to check out the resorts.
I'm trying to choose Santa Fe or Palace Baja, I can't find any pics for the new rooms in Santa fe and well the Palace Baja adults only seems to be a good option
We walked the grounds of both properties. The view is spectacular at both but in my opinion the decor and style of the Palace Baja California resort is more modern and my style. Pictures of the rooms can be found on each of their websites in the photo gallery. Also try searching on CZcams "Room Tour Riu Santa Fe Cabo" & "Room Tour Riu Palace Baja California". I am sure there are recent videos of both.
About what time was this , seems good timing beating the crowds.
Hi @cynthiaparedes1773 👋🏽 we went to Cabo June 1st. They said that typically the crowds pick up at the end of the month. We also filmed very early in the morning around 6am. Gives the appearance of less people being around but we were just early birds.

Nice ! I’ll be headed there in July. Did they offer any top shelf Tequila such as Don Julio or Casa Migos etc ?. I’ve been to other RIU locations and they did but you had to specifically ask. Also did they allow you all in the 3rd resort? I’ve saw some reviews where guest of the RIU Palace Cabo San Lucas could only get into Sante Fe. Thanks for the content !

What transportation service did you use to get to and from the airport
Hi @skblarge 👋🏽 we used the shuttle provided by the first hotel we stayed at, Pueblo Bonito Pacifica, and a taxi to get back to the airport. Our friends booked through Jetblue vacations and it included transportation both ways.
What is the difference between Riu Palace Baja California and Cabo San Lucas (aside from Baja being adults only)? Can't decided what to choose....
Baja California has a modern desert vibe to the property. While the Palace has a traditional resort aesthetic. The Palace is larger with more pool and deck space to lounge. The days we were there it was quiet and relaxing.

The hotel did not require you to sign up. They just let you join the activities
The sound is muffled and low sometimes, try to adjust volume and/or mic.
Hello @westcoastcultured 👋🏽 we ran into audio trouble with our microphones. We have since purchased better quality equipment for the next trip. Unfortunately that’s the best we could edit the audio.

Hi @adamlovell1117 👋🏽 the Riu palace and Pueblo Bonito are both all inclusive resorts. In our opinion we preferred the food, drinks and experience at Pueblo Bonito. For this vacation we wanted a quiet, relaxing time with the option to access the other sister resorts if we wanted a change in vibes. For us the Riu resort was too large and very difficult to navigate. The buffet selection is vast put pretty much the same everyday.

How is the food at the Resort?
The food was okay. Breakfast was the best meal everyday. We preferred the buffet over the speciality restaurants for dinner.

I promise you it is safe. But you can stay on the resort the entire time. There is no need to leave the Riu, it is massive and there is so much to explore.
Misleading title. This is not the RIU Palace Cabo San Lucas. Please change title to a tour of riu santa fe.
