First of all I want to clear up a misconception that everyone has here. First of all it is obvious that the Dominican guy has a high African descendancy..he's dark skin and has African physical features. A majority of light skin Dominicans and Puerto Ricans have European descendancy and their African descendancy is about 3%-10% but it is mostly Northern African.
I'm Dominican and my DNA indicates that I have 3% Northern African descendancy.

If you are eating at McDonald's, your one hamburger came from forty different cows, similar, if you are A'f'rican American, you trace to many different preliterate sub saharan tribes and peoples. To be A'f'rican American is to be part West African, part British, part Central African, and 2 percent of your sub saharan ancestry is from the Southeast A'f'rican region, specifically you have some ancestry from Mozambique and Madagascar. This is true for all A'f'rican American people. So if you want to go visit the homeland, you need to see the UK, along with all the West African coastal nations, then head to the Congolese rainforest, because over a quarter of your sub saharan Ancestry is central A'f'rican. Then you also would need to visit Mozambique and Madagascar. This would be one heck of a good adventure, but very expensive.

I am a 100% Cameroonian, and the Hausa, Ewondo, and Bamileke are prominent tribes in Cameroon.
Bamileke people are from the West region of Cameroon (Cameroon has 10 regions, 8 of which are french speaking and 2 are english speaking. Along with Canada, Cameroon is one of the 2 bilingual countries i the world that uses English and French as their official language). The Bamilekes are part of the semi-bantu (grassfield) and bantu ethnic people of Africa who migrated from central Africa throughout the west, east, central and southern Africa.
The Bamileke people are known for their business prowess, they're very industrial when it comes to business, education, agriculture etc. Today, they're part of the french speaking section of Cameroon and the richest Cameroonian is from the Bamileke tribe. The Bamileke tribe is broken down into many villages like the bafang, bagangté, mbouda, dschang, bafoussam, baham, bandjoun etc. with each village having a varying form of the bamileke language. Also have very beautiful, color and conspicuous traditional clothes, jewelry, art, beautiful cuisine too.
The Hausa people of Cameroon are predominantly found in the 3 northern regions of Cameroon (all french speaking). They are known for their beautiful dark complexion, tall heights, nomadic cattle rearing, beautiful women and culture. Most of them are conservative muslims. They're part of the Sahel ethnic group of Africa who migrated from the north of africa down south, east and west. Have so many languages like Fulani, Tuareg, Kanuri, Gur, Shuwa Arab, hausa.
The Ewondos are from the southern and centre regions of Cameroon (all french speaking). They're known for being the government administrators in the country. They're of the bantu ethnic group of Africa. Ewondo is a Bantu language. It is a dialect of the Beti language (Yaunde-Fang), and is intelligible with Bulu, Eton, and Fang. The president/dictator of Cameroon is from the this group. The cuisine is phenomenal and exquisite. The traditional clothes, jewelry and arts are very colorful.
There are tons of tons things to learn about Cameroon and your ethnic group. It really is AFRICA IN MINIATURE. Cameroon is where all the different parts of the continent meets, we have beautiful landscape, animals, food, music, art, languages, people. Come visit.

This particular DNA analysis was focused on the X chromosome from their mothers, which would have remained intact due to a lower chance of chromosomal hybridization. Basically the mother carries most of the hard data, undiluted and easily traceable. I stand corrected, but am pretty sure that's how it works.

@sly Steel. East Africans and Ethiopians have nothing to do with Middle Eastern people(Arabs, Turks, Persians, Armenians, Afghanis) and have nothing to do with Europeans either. Europeans and Middle Eastern people do NOT share any DNA with Ethiopians and do NOT come from Ethiopians or any Black Africans in East Africa. Europeans and Middle Eastern people are very blood related since Northern Middle Eastern people(Northern Arabs, Turks, Persians, and Mesopotamian Neolithic farmers) had moved to Europe thousands of years ago and the people who lived in Europe mixed with Northern Middle Eastern people creating the Europeans we see today. So, Ethiopians are Black Africans and come from Black African DNA. Some Ethiopians look mixed because they are mixed with people who are NOT Black African who invaded Ethiopia thousands of years ago.
