I’m sure you have got this before but I’ve been playing skate since 2007 when it came out and I have never been able to speed glitch until today You explained it perfect and although I’ve only done it twice now it’s twice more than I have ever done before! That’s usually how I get beat online. Is someone speed glitches on me, or speed glitches, and does ridiculous flatland stuff 😂 “Edit” I know the glitch is only for skate 3 was just saying.”
I’ve also been playing since the demo came out on 360 and I’m hyped for the new one to come out so I can decimate some kids 😂

this has been so helpful!! finally got it for the first time and managed to repeat it a couple times, I think the most important part this video shows is how you've gotta feather that RB button, the other tutorials had me holding it too long, i got it really fast once i realized that

this is the first speed glitch i’ve done and man it feels good.
i think the important part they leave out is the timing of the RB in particular. it works evety time when you do it when you fall, not when you are at the peak of the jump

@@Corovrex it literally takes some time. and i mean a LOTTA time to get it, but once you get it you’ll almost get it at least 60% of the time. hot tip leave a marker where you want your glitch to start, you get maaad acceleration instantly.

I just say I like Arby's...why. I (rt) like (x) arbys (rb)... why ( y) it works for me and I can make a tempo easier. I time the like (x) when the board hits the ground and the rest of it is used to help me notice my timing. it works pretty good I got it within 15 min and down in around an hour.

this shit just doesn't work, my doll doesn't get this impulse, and when it does it's very weak, I tried about 100 times and only managed it once, I looked at about 6 tutorials and none of them helped me, I'm giving up now, it's 04:31 in the morning and I'm still trying to do this shit, I managed to memorize it but it just doesn't work, if I only knew why it wouldn't work even if I prayed to Jesus.
I've found best success when I hit the right trigger and Triangle/Y right when my character starts to fall from the jump

So there's a small frame that you have to see when your skater is at the max jump height and at that frame tap rb or r1 and then press y or triangle
I came back to skate 3 and it’s so hard to do that speed glitch

Sometimes when I do it my character either goes to the side or diagonal. Why does that happen?
the glitch relies on the skateboard flinging you, and the skateboard sometimes takes you in a different direction, after a little while you can start to guess where it goes

I did not, as a matter of fact, get it first try. I've been trying this for over 2 hours and honestly I'm starting to become convinced that everyone who does this glitch is just a hacker, and that this isn't a real glitch. my guy just keeps either

Landing on the board normally and slightly rolling away at the slowest possible speed.
I've never gotten this "glitch" to actually work.
