DROWNING a motorcycle is EASY in MADAGASCAR [S7-E96]

- In this episode, I am riding to Kirindy forest, in Madagascar, together with my local guide Didier. I'm renting a KTM350 but riding here during the rainy season is very, very tricky. The water levels are about waist high, but since you can't see the bottom, it's a gamble. Every. Single. Time.

The fact that her first reaction to being blasted in the face with mud and water is to laugh says it all!! May we all have that Noraly spirit and attitude.
I always enjoyed being in front of someone and giving them a blast , then try and stay cautious so as to not have it happen to me ... haha. Love it.
@@lhollybow And,...you have many friends?
Noraly is incredible. That riding through the water had me puckered up, but she did it. In my younger years I did a lot and I mean a lot of dirt bike riding. That was pretty intense. Once I had to tow my nephew 10+ miles through serious rugged terrain after he drowned his Honda X-R 250. I also had the same bike to tow him with. Those old 250’s were tough. Can’t believe my clutch held up.
I have grown to enjoy cycling so much that I ride a bike rain or shine, even in the winter snow here in Boston. As the saying goes, 'there is no bad weather or season; only bad clothing!'
Roosted.
The only one good thing ever that CZcams recommendation ever did, is introduced to this amazing channel. And now it's like I'm addicted to it. Thank you Noraly for this. Stay safe 🙏💪
I joined the Noraly fan club when there were only 1.4M subscribers, it’s great to see how the channel has evolved and gained worldwide recognition.
Moye moye
Majestic countryside and flora and fauna- wow the Baobabs and animals! Thanks for persevering Noraly and companion, and bringing us to this truly beautiful watery place!
Noraly, the best of the best. Thank You😊
Yep, we're Itchyboots 'philes & that's a very good thing 😊
It tells me everything I need to know about Noraly's character is when the first thing she did when she saw that those people's rickshaw was stuck in the water, and she didn't hesitate to get off her bike and HELP them though her path forward was uncertain! She is simply amazing!! May God continue to protect her on her travels!! 🙏🙏👍👍❤❤
❤I lost a son unexpectedly 2 years ago. He had just turned 34. He left a wife and 2 small children.
I was so down, no inspiration for anything.
Itchy Boots - Noraly gives me the inspiration to do stuff. I hate driving, and do not even own a motorcycle, but there is something about her strength and personality; the gorgeous places and songs…
The challenge and adventure!!! Such a strong woman.
Thank you dear Noraly!!!
You are amazing! I have my grandkids watching you when they visit me. Blessings a million❤
PS: a Brazilian teacher living in the USA.
She is such a true addictive inspirational beacon isn’t she . I’m also
Always looking foward to her next video to uplift my spirit as well ! May angels be with your son always !
I am so so sorry for your loss 😢❤
Elisabeth, I will pray for the peace of his soul and your happiness 💗
Madagascar doesn’t get enough credit for the awesome scenery, friendly people and challenging environments. Beautiful place.
Noooooo wayz
...its a dump
Yes, unfortunately, 76% of sub tropical rainforests are gone. The lemurs are only in sanctuaries areas. 😢 ,but people also need food too.
hi what a life!!
i first followed u when i came across ur hiatus in alaska! now madagascar 🇲🇬 which still looks similar to when i was there in 2002. enjoy & be safe always 👌🏼👍🏼💪🏼🫶🏻💛
@@turtle-frogs According to Science Direct there has been only a 29% loss of forest cover in the past 2 decades. According to another study done by American University it has lost around 50 percent of its forest cover since the beginning of human habitation. For Madagascar to lose that much is quite devastating because it didn't have a large amount of forest in the beginning, only. Wikipedia claims have been made of losing 80 to 90 percent of forest cover since human habitation, but it hasn't got any real evidence to back up that claim. William J. McConnell and Christian A. Kull wrote that the natives burnt the forests over a thousand years ago, but of course proving that is nearly impossible.
Looks like a mix of India and low land Southeast Asia to me
Thanks to the channel i no longer complain about bad roads rather appreciate a good roads when i see one, olso i try to say hi to the passerbys (I'm still a bit shy) & I'm trying to learn other languages too just in case, noraly have had a great impact on me as a person & I'm sure many others like me ❤
😭
I am learning. Focus on the beauty. Turn off the engineer in me that always wants to fix something. 😂
Those Baobab trees are unbelievable! And over 800 years old! Thank you for the drone footage!! And great music for your adventure - a little like Pirates of the Caribbean!
She said; Just to think of that people 800 years ago looked at the same tree - blows my mind. LOL - 800 years ago it was just a tiny sprig in the ground.
This is the coolest thing anyone can do after quitting your job and leaving everything behind. I don’t even like riding motorcycles but this is so cool
“Adventure is a mindset, not a destination.” Each time I get a like I will go back and watch the video again. Noraly am addicted to this channel. So much love and respect for you.

I watch each episode at least twice because I catch something I missed the time before. She’s the best!
You are such an amazing being Noraly. The fact that you left your own bike to help those people on the tricycle simply shows your true beauty inside out.❤
That should definitely be expected. Just normal curtesy. She also got help from the locals so it would be very strange and selfish if not.
Very true. She's a lovely person. Always full of laughter in all situations. God bless her immensely !
Are you in Zambia?
@AR9ify helping others comes from the heart, not something you can expect from anyone
They need to install drainage on roads!
It is nice to humble once in a while. She did not want a Guide. I am sure she can now say taking a guide was more than recommended. Thank you for bringing us with you on your adventures
Noraly, I am love your courage. Most people would turn back, but you power through everything. I love your energy, strength and determination. You inspire many to get out and do. Love love love you and your smile 😊 ❤🇦🇺
❤ Noraly her service to the world is phenomenal I do believe she brings unity among the human race.
Yes, over and over again, Norah shows us the “myth of fingerprints” is refuted by her daily interactions across this sadly divided world.
Why is Noraly 's background music making my heart to beat faster as she speeds into the Madagascar 'n heartland...gosh that sound track is pure adventure ❤
As always, her music choice is so to the point..! This reminds me a lot of the soundtrack to "Pirates of the Caribbean"!
I thought the same thing about the soundtrack. It sounded like Jack Sparrow on two wheels. There was certainly enough water on those roads to float a pirate ship!
yesss and there is a healthy competition with Didie!!!! I loved!!!!
Her videos and the comments from you all always brings tears to my eyes. This adventure shows the joy that we all have. Time to share that joy with the world. Peace for us all! Ride on woman! Your guide is fabulous and talented!
My daughter and I talked about amazing women and their contributions to society in various aspects.
As a rider myself and a keen follower of yours, I shared your incredible journey around the world with her. Then, we watched your videos. I highlighted some key moments from your travels worldwide. She wants to be as brave and adventurous as you.
Please stay safe out there. I include your safety, security, health, and well-being in my daily prayers.
Thank you for showing us the world and inspiring my child.
@24:00 "Sorry Francois, sorry Arai and ... *sorry me* ." Unexpected, but showing her great humor ! Nicely done!
The best thing that happened to me in almost two years was discovering the channel
Itchy Boots. It's difficult to put into words what I feel when I watch the videos. From interacting with people, to the desire to drive a motorbike through the jungle, the emotions are so many that it is difficult to describe them. Thank you very much for sharing these adventures. When I watch the channel I get an immense feeling of freedom. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Why do we as long time followers, do not get ❤ heart recogntion from her..its sad for me. And others do
@@marleneconradie es, I have followed Noraly since her very first episode in Season One in India and repeated that trip several times as well as all her other seasons wherever in the world she has been. It has been fascinationg watching her various skills improve - riding 'offroad' poor and nonexistant roads, filming, editing, learning to fly drones etc. etc. All her different bikes and gear. I urged her for years to get a neckbrace. eventually,to my relief, she did.
How Noraly negotiates such challenging trails at first encounters leaves me in awe,....
Just recalling the day in the Netherlands when the guy was teaching you how to ride on dirt. You could open your own school with the lessons learnt in Africa !! Bloody Brilliant !!
Noraly, ALWAYS laughing and making the best out of any adverse conditions or situation! I thoroughly enjoyed this part of her journey through MUDagascar!!
The Baobab Road was spectacular and the scenery was amazing. I was touched by Norally's generous spirit in helping those in need. And DJ's powerful riding was just as impressive. Thank you to Noraly for showing us the true face of Madagascar. I'm looking forward to the rides ahead.
I wasn't expecting chickens under the driver's seat!!!! I didn't see that coming!!!!
Apparently they were left while the thick forest surrounding them was cut down years ago.
Noraly, you are literally keeping me awake all night! From one episode to another. Thank you for taking us on this adventurous journey with you.
Noraly
You've done it again.
You're in your element with an enduro dirt bike in the mud, deep water, tracks and racing with your guide .
I'm loving every minute of the beautiful scenery in Madagascar.
Keep safe.
It has become such a routine riding in these environments that you almost forget how skilled Noraly has become. Just amazing to see the level and joy she’s riding with. And no matter how much dirt, she always keeps filming for us. You are tops Itchy Boots!
She seems to be enjoying that KTM, it's a little workhorse! Maybe it's goodbye to Alaska?
I was thinking same Marcel. Viewers unfamiliar with riding a motorcycle in tough environmental and track conditions, let alone in remote places in west Africa then Madagascar its almost incomprehensible that she does it almost seamlessly despite many challenges. Peace!
@@blairshunk4455 She does seem to be enjoying the KTM! We know she plans to retire Alaska at end of S7. While this KTM is very well suited for her 2 week guided stint in Madagascar, it lacks features that make it a good choice for extended world travel Noraly style. It will be interesting to see what bike she replaces Alaska with. Peace!
@@jasonzerbini2375 Exactly 👍🏻
Madagascar is Africa pro max. It is like a continent in itself. Everything appears unique. The fauna and flora, the architecture, the rikshaws, even those oxen-drawn wheels. It is like nothing I have seen anywhere. I recently watched a CZcams video by Vox as they investigated a mysterious village that appeared in the maps deep in Madagascar. The village did not exist like 20 years ago. Their research led to an amazing discovery of how a family from another region of Madagascar discovered a fertile yet unclaimed volcanic crater. Settled inside and started farming. Thank you for sharing the adventures of Madagascar.
Africa is a continent of its own … truly amazing
Thank you for sharing info about this documentary ! I watched it and it was amazing.
@@gopherholehotel you're welcome. How they developed the conflict and resolved it was amazing.
Thank you so much for mentioning that video by Vox. I went and watched it, absolutely fascinating. So heartening to hear of all the scientists from all over the world cooperating and sharing their knowledge. And to see the people living in that village. Actually renews my hope in mankind. With all the crap on the internet and the awful things going on in the world, it really lightened me. Thanks!❤
The scenery is beautiful. I have watched previous video and was wondering why there's barely any tree around.
Wow, I too cannot get enough of Madagascar. The lemurs are too cure. Madagascar is breath-taking...Thanks for showing us this beautiful country Noraly.
I’m sure Alaska is happy to miss this part of the trip. He had enough in Cameroon and west Africa.
Noraly takes us to school with every adventure. What a rider. What a laughing lover of life.
You really have the best attitude out of anyone I think I've ever seen, no matter what happens you don't lose your temper. You just laugh about it and carry on.
Those Baobab trees in Mud-a-gascar are truly majestic and magnificent. Great video as usual! ❤
Well that was an awesome day and night!! Enjoyed it sooo much! Thank you Noraly!
Noraly's done some absolutely amazing episodes in her time, but this has to be up there with the best she's ever done. This is high level documentary footage, but it's from such a unique perspective,
Today, you hit it out of the park! The overhead of the Baobob trees was absolutely fantastic. Today you filled my eyes with wonder.
Love the countryside showing the tall trees and scenery from above and your sharing on the road. Thank you!
Zeer emotioneel om de Baobabs te mogen aanschouwen Noraly, dankjewel.
Those trees are truly monuments.

So nice to travel with you !!! ✌👋👍👍👍
Priceless adventure with lovely animals too.
Those trees were so unique and beautiful.
We are all addicted to this channel, its show I watch with my whole family everytime a new episode is uploaded. Thank you Noraly for showing us how amazing our planet is.
It’s so funny I have have binge watching you for a few weeks now and I see I’m at the last episode of this season until u next upload and I’m like OMGGGGGG NOOO!!! Haha. Anyone else feel like you know noraly personally now ? For a second I was like let me call her and ask her where she is 🤣🤣🤣🤣. I know crazy but noraly you make these videos like u are talking to me. Love you and take care. I’m going to go to prior seasons now to wait for ur next ❤️❤️❤️❤️🤣
What an epic episode! Classic Itchy, with mud, beautiful scenery, pure joy, just the right amount of possible danger, kind people. Love it! I’d love to see an interview with her guide, and hear what it’s like to ride with her. He is one of the rare few who have ever gotten to ride with her.
Having ridden enduro for years, when you where sprayed with mud and water I jumped and turned my head to one side to avoid the spray because you film footage is so wonderful, keep them coming Noraly.
My too. When Noraly got roosted all I could think of (sarcastically) was "thanks Bud..." and then some bad words.
😂
Those little lemurs were saying 😮 "look at that adorable human!! It isn't frightened of us and it's soooo curious!!"
Thank you Noraly, what a joy to ride with you again today. Stay safe and motor on!❤
Haha yes...The cute Lemurs eyes have nothing on Noraly's eyes.
Shame you also did not get red heart reply, like some of her followers do . guess i feel neglected as her follower for years, guess i also just wanted a red ❤ response from special Noraly.
Thank you for showing us Madagascar. The elegant shape of baobab trees may be the visual that stays with me. So beautiful!
Wauw!!! Does anybody else get the same feeling as me when they watch Noraly's video's?? A feeling of gratitude how beautiful this world is and a feeling of love because of all the lovely people she meets. Watching your videos gives me a positive feeling of life and makes me enjoy the smaller things more 🥰 I've been following you now for a few months and I really enjoy every single minute of it. Thank you so much Noraly , through your videos i would proudly say I have seen a lot of places on our planet , places we would never go in our lifetime ,places where big medias will never get the insights like u did , thank you again
The baobab trees are so majestic on land and from the air. So glad you were able to fly the drone to show the beauty. And there’s our Noraly, always lending a helping hand. You are certainly getting plenty of wet, bumpy tracks in Madagascar. After the mudbath, DJ gave you, you can now know if mud keeps you cooler, like it does elephants 😂 Your destination was well worth it though…lots of wildlife to enjoy….just a very cool video Noraly BIG 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Respect to Noraly. Big thumbs up.
Nothing can match the spirit to ride , the smile is permanent and she faces every odd with that smile.
Norally your positive attitude, energy, helping mind, forgiveness, smiling face always admiring us .❤
Didier apologizing about the muddy situation was so kind😊. Thank you Noraly for always bringing us along🎉🎉
You can almost bet Noraly is his first paying customer to laugh about getting "Roosted". I'm sure he was greatly relieved that she wasn't mad, it was truly an accident.
I got to thinking while DJ was sincerely sorry, he didn't realize it but had just created a TOP scene for the video or he would have said "you can thank me later". 😂😂Peace!
My dad is a huge fan of yours lol, I surprise him for his birthday with your hat.

What an incredible chapter, Didier has it so clear, he is a tremendous rider.... it was lovely to see the two of them run, side by side, I loved it!!!!! A great companion..... I guess Revit will send you a neoprene kit and some frog legs to continue your visit to Madagascar!!!! It was very funny to see that hut with a baobab in the backyard..... IT WAS THE ENTIRE BACKYARD!!!! incredible, a place from another planet.... Thank you Noraly for showing us this reality that surpasses any fiction!!!! Until Sunday. Take care of yourself.

You are my hero Noraly, thank you for sharing your dreams❤
Your kind heart really made my day, I'll hold it to the end of the times.
Now, that’s what I had in mind when I pictured Madagascar! The part of the road lined with Baobab trees….😍😍I appreciate you showing the other parts too tho!
FANTASTICALLY AWESOME RIDE!
Noraly was so excited, cruising at a steady high speed, screaming "ooh hoo hoo," and saying, "this is a beautiful track." Then all of a sudden, she lands in a muddy pond in the middle of the road, gets stuck, and her tone changes amidst a chuckle to: "this is really tricky." LOL 😆🤣🤣!
Noraly is the best woman motorcycle rider I have ever seen! And the best of everything she does. The beauty she sees she brings to us all to feast our eyes upon. Thank you Itchy Boots! You are loved everywhere you go.
Before i got accident in riding motorcycle after the accident i'll never try again.but wen i saw this brave girl i've starting again to used my motorcycle i've inspired for your vlog and gave me strenght to ride again.Godbless you.❤
The landscape with the Baobab trees , in the drone shot, looks like something Disney would come up with. Ronn
ROFL!! Dumps the bike, and reacts like she spilled some water. Love that spirit!!
Once again intrepid road warrior, Noraly, takes us with her through amazing scenery, huge mud-puddle slalom tracks, pushing through, undeterred, even after getting a mud-splattered facial (Luckily, she wasn’t hurt.), she laughs it off. At her destination, she proudly shows her soiled armour and her excitement to venture into the night jungle to see the animals there. How lucky we are to share in her adventurous journey. Thank you for taking us with you.
Seeing what you see and feeling what you feel in these rides is an amazing experience. Thank you...

Ok honestly noraly 's synonyms is optimistic she is just smiles in every bad situation thats just incredible all these years. A true inspiration for me
The environment was breathtaking, and the Baobab trees was truly remarkable. Norally's kind attitude toward those in need moved me. Furthermore, DJ's strong riding was equally amazing. We appreciate Noraly presenting us with the authentic side of Madagascar. I'm excited about the upcoming rides.
Thank you very much for all the wonderful places you show us. All the best
She is back for some more :). the Legend Noraly giving us joy to see the world . with an angelic heart what can go wrong in the mud ;)
If she continues to go straight through the middle of "unknown depth" puddles, in her gambling approach, she will drown her bike, and be stuck in the mud...that is what will go wrong. and then she will need the help of others obviously...Best to avoid that and just go around the shallow edges, like everyone else does in the off roading world.....Seems odd that she doesn't know that yet....
Baobabs are such special trees - I have always loved them and have seen so many photos of those beautiful Madagascan baobabs. So very different to our southern African baobabs. So amazing to be riding with Noraly through entire landscapes filled with them. Stunning. Also always wanted to see the unique Madagascan wildlife. Really enjoyed this episode.

Nice comment Terry. I can't think of a better role model for your daughters to follow. All the big TV, music and sports stars so many people idolize often are not good role models yet they get the most attention. Its all backwards. I myself have changed to act and react more like Noraly and it has made a big difference in my life. Peace! No one can be compared to Noraly and Noraly can't be compared to anyone. Peace! From USA, G'day mate!
This is what is all about in exploring on a motorcycle, no need for a heavy machine which some riders believe bigger is better. It's just you, your motorcycle and nature which makes you focus of admiring the scenery, enjoy the wind, and where you take your bike on the trail, your mind clears itself of all the stress and troubles you have or know; when it's over, it is a "good tired and relaxing", thanks Noraly, I can just feel what you are riding through, good thing my computer doesn't splash mud and water at me, just funin.
Once again the scene transitions, editing, and cinematography was a masterpiece in every way. No YT content comes close to Noraly's artistic talent. Still shaking my head at what I just watched. 30 minutes and every second edge-of-seat fascinating.
What a day - hard work rewarded! Love everything - the drone shots; the upside-down trees; the mud bath; and then all those big eyed Lemurs! Thank you!
