- How to work with Artemis, the greek goddess of the hunt, moon, chastity, childbirth, and more can be both intimidating and frustrating at the same time. But look no further and take a breath because today we will talk about Artemis offerings, Artemis candles, Artemis crystals, and a lot more for this deity. We will even go into some of the history of Artemis as well to ensure everyone gets exactly what they need and more. Artemis is an amazing deity to work with. Deities for beginners can be rough, but ultimately time and research can make things a whole lot easier. This may be a very ignorant question but here goes! Is there a difference in working with Artemis vs. Diana's energy?

I'm actually trembling. I was called out to by a woman with a stag while meditating just before giving birth to my third child. I didn't know who she was and she didn't tell me. I started researching everyone I could and when I came across an image of Artemis I got cold chills. Absolutely her who was reaching out. Everything I learn about her brings me to tears for some reason because it all makes sense and clicks.

I’m just going to assume it was her who delivered your third child. She was just in disguise. Artemis is amazing. She lets me call her mom. I’ve felt her presence with me for a little over 10 years now

She really appreciates that anyone goes out to any remote area and takes interests in the wilderness, give food to the animals, that is something the Goddess really likes, not only her but others also.
I have ADHD: bringing that up because I wanted to say that you did such a great job at explaining Artemis in a way that set us all up to be able to go out and learn more while at the same time giving us all a bunch of different information so we can all have a lot of basic facts. It kept my attention the entire time.
I live by the water in Florida. I told my husband on a drive home that I wanted to learn more about Artemis. In front of our apartment when we got home, smack there, for the first time in 3 years, were two deer that stared at us and hung around for a while. I get chills when I think about it.

Deities choose who they want... it bugs me when people say you can't work with one's that have chosen you...
People dont really do their research thats why they get all bent out of shape. The they get hard headed and wont listen to reason so i feel you on that!
Choose you huh? So how do you know if she has chosen you? I've never heard of Artemis. But this name ,word ect has been coming in my mind for 3 and 1/2 years now. And I don't know why .so that's why I'm here to learn who or what is Artemis. Not only the name but the vision of bow and arrow and the deer 🤔
Just recently started working with her! I love how her flame is jumping around and so happy while you are speaking!
Her and I have a very strong connection so I like to make sure she isnt getting mad about anything I say! lol

Artemis has always been my favorite goddess.
It’s funny- I made this whole altar for Apollo. Gave him everything I thought he would need at first, and even carved a sigil into his candle. After a few hours there was no sign of him, and during that time I thought it would be good to get a candle for Artemis to put it nearby… and of course, Artemis arrived before her brother. Go figure!
I work with a lot of wild animals and have had a lot of signs of her. I’m excited to work with her more, she told me during meditation we were very similar in certain ways and then left after surrounding me with gorgeous white deer
Artemis is my matron goddess too. I used to worship moon every night. Until I brought lots of black moonstones and amethyst. I meditated with it. I saw her 3 mermaids/nymphs as my spirit guides. I love nature and I got cats as companions. Artemis was indeed calling me.
i think a good thing to remember is that to pay attention to the candle itself, bc first i got so worried that Persephone’s candle was not that bright and it was crying a lot, but actually that happened because i anointed the candle with a little bit of oil so it didn’t burn correctly

Awhile back I had bought a sun/ moon hematite necklace on a whim. Didn't know why but I felt compelled. Fast forward to last week and I find out that Artemis and Apollo have both been reaching out to me and may or may not be my patron/ matron...The necklace makes more sense now lol I feel like they are with me whenever I wear it!
They both are amazing deities!
I know what you mean! I've always had an interest in the sun and moon and really all celestial bodies, and a while back I bought a necklace that have a sun and moon carved into it and it says "live by the sun, love by the moon" I was drawn to it. Fast forward and oh lookie there Apollo I know for sure has been calling out to me. Still trying to find signs of Artemis tho. I'm not good at reading signs 😅😅 though my family did stumble across a herd of deer on a road trip and they all seemed to look torward me and a couple began walking toward me...
So here's the story I have and why I think artemis is calling out to me I was scrolling through tik tok yesterday morning and a tik tok popped up that said what deity is trying to contact you and artemis came up and I did a little research on some signs and it made sense to me. I'm really drawn to the moon I find it really interesting, when I was younger I had a bow and arrows but I lost the arrows. My favorite Disney princess is Merida and her weapon is a bow and arrow. The other day I asked my pendulum if artemis was trying to work with me and I got a clear yes. I found this video to be really helpful!

Since then I have had some very good things in my life I feel stronger and more feminine and confident.
However, I was raised as a Christian and I do love many of thr things Jesus said and Jesus also.
And I read Artemis is the same as Diana. And I read Diana was the sister of Lucifer? 🤪 that is a bit creepy.

I worked with Venus beforr and I felt the most loving and absolutely positive energy.
But when your ancestors have been very much into.christianity somehow there is something in you programmed which is so afraid of evil spirits and this kind of stuff.
Actually I think in my country Spain, as well as in Italy and other parts of Europe which were part of roman empire, so many Diana/Artemis worship places, just changed name to " mother mary" worship places.
But it ws originally a place for the worship of Artemis.
As well as many Isis statues were named all of a sudden as " holy Mary".
There is a famous black statue in my country which looks like a black egyptian queen.
Its called the brown holy Mary but I always felt like... Ok now Mary has a nose which looks exactly like old egyptian statues, is black, and sits on a queenish thron with a crown😂

@@Agape122 exactly! A lot of Christanity appropriated pagan sites and sometimes even statues. Apparently the vatican even has an Artemis statue! That said, I grew up Pagan. I am very well studied in Christanity though because at many points in my life when I was soul searching I gave it a legitimate try. At the end of the day, I personally cannot sign up for Christanity. Mostly because the bible, when you look at the whole book rather than cherrypicking things out, is full of contradictions and other things I'm not ok with. I think Jesus really did exist though, but people being people turned him into God.
@@mariahcb9305 yes I don't hate christianity either. I gave it a try too. Actually I had one of my strongest mystical experiences in a christian monastery a place called Taize communaute in France.
Its a beautiful place where people simply sign to God together, without indoctrination going on.
I spent a silence retreat week there, and I felt like the hugg of an angel in reallly beautifull way and I understood there are beings of unconditional love in the spiritual realm who are acompaing us through life and helping us.
I believe Jesus was real and was an extremely elightened being.
I actually believe the catholic church was an intend to savotage his powerful teachings.
Because if you think about it Jesus said what I can do you can do it too even more. He ws quite rebelious against indoctrination actually.
What a better way to savotage somebody tham missrepresent his teachings and turning everything about his torture and death? 😅
That is what I think.
Its a pitty because I believe in the ascended masters and I connect with Jesus a lot, its a vibe of unconditional love, but it has been so poluted, I realized I cant join christianity.
It has a very toxic subconscious programming about being unworthy and undeserving of things and about denying your own desires and happiness.
Sadly my friends who got heavily into christianity , or even became nuns, got so bitter so quickly.
Like... They were that joyfull person just 5 or 6 years ago.
All of a suden then became like 20 years older in just 5 years and lost their empathy to others because of harsh judgments on everything and lack of understanding of other people's life situations and emotions.
So I feel somehow christianity can program people in a vry negative way.
If you know how to keep.a good spiritual connection and be authentic besides the indoctrination then christianity can be an amazing path where you connect to God and angels.
But as you say I cant join it because there is too many negative things.
By the way how cool to grow up pagan! I cant even imagine it.
I grew up without religion of any kind but as a kid I could see spirits and some kind of blue light beings around, so I always believed in the spiritual world.
Of courae seen as crazy by my family.
My old ancestors where heavily christian thou, because I am from the country who actually had the inquisition😅!

@@Agape122 Hi! Artemis is a deity of the Hellenic pantheon, while Diana is in Roman and Italian folk practices. They share some characteristics, but there are also important differences in how they were and are seen and worshipped. They’re not the same goddess!

I love this video! But I also love that a couple years ago, a doe gave birth to twins out in the tiny forest behind mine and my neighbors yards. They come back this year with twins of their own. Sometimes when I go walking late at night, they’re in my neighbors yard, staring at me (bc I sing very loudly aka scream 😂) I love deer

I had a dream I was walking through a misty grove of trees and came across a large stag eyeing me. Somehow I felt like I was meeting a goddess, and I thought, this stag is a goddess? But who! Then the stag stepped aside and I saw a beautiful woman dressed in green with rich chestnut hair. She and I communicated wordlessly and she gave me great wisdom and advice. After I woke up I googled “goddess with a stag” and discovered Artemis. I never knew anything about her before, but the more I learn, the more I feel she has been calling me for some time and I just didn’t know the signs. Thank you for this video

I saw a facebook post of Artemis and it's the FIRST time I resonated with any goddess/diety. Deer and wolves are two of my sacred animals. And weirdly I just spoke with my tattoo artist of getting a bow and arrow tattoo with the Virgo constellation behind it. I didn't know why I was drawn to the bow and arrow, but I felt like I needed it. I scrolled youtube for a video about her and found yours, and I'm so glad I did! I'm from upstate NY and when you said you were from this area too I instantly knew I was in right place! Thank you and can't wait to binge your channel!
I’d love to work with her but I’m a closeted witch (I can’t even burn candles) I’m still going to talk to her, maybe one day I can work with her properly though :)

@@beckyriley580 try finding a stag statue! The deer represents her as well as the bear. As a closet witch it'll be a lot easier to explain why you have a statue like that rather than burn an incense! You can always just say "I like deer"!

I got a confirmation reading recently that indicated she and I have worked together in several past lives and it made me so happy to feel like someone who knows me better than I know myself is there looking out. I knew I had someone with me when I picked up tarot and immediately got very LOUD feedback lol, its been a lovely part of my journey to find it was her and to try to reach back to past memories. At last! I knew someone has been reaching out to me but was having a hard time figuring it out honestly, until this morning. While feeding my horses (we live on the outskirts of a national forest) a little family of deer were in my pasture laying down by my horses. They didn't run off they just watched. I thanked them for gracing me with their presence and carried on. My phone went off five minutes later with this video. Last night I dreamed of the forest and there was a stag and a woman but not in detail. I think I figured it out. Thank you for the information!
Thank you for this video. I have had a series of events today too long to list in a CZcams comment that have lead me to believe that Artemis is reaching out to me and when you mentioned deer I had tears in my eyes because I've been seeing deer almost nightly in my front yard. I just did a tarot confirmation and I am shook because the cards were basically like "Took you long enough" lol

I originally had no plans to watch this video. Maybe out of curiosity but not because I was seeking Artemis out. I actually have been drawn to Artemis for a really long time. I’ve always loved animals and I even named my first dog after her. I started getting into witchcraft slowly after that and once I found out you could actually work with deities like Artemis, I tried asking to see if she wanted to work with me. This was a couple years back and she said no. I began getting back into witchcraft a few months ago. I joined a group that was about connecting with spirit guides and deities and it made me realize I was actually able to communicate with them myself and I didn’t need a middle man. This got me to reach out to the first deity that I actually saw during one of the meditations so I reached out to her and started working with that specific deity. A couple others had been calling out to me and I spoke with them to see what was going on. One of them even let me know I had more options in regards to entities that wanted to work with me but I didn’t want to overwhelm myself so I didn’t check at the time. I’d been getting a lot of signs and messages popping into my head so after doing a couple readings for other people, so I decided to reach back out and see who were some of the deities that were trying to work with me that I didn’t talk to before and I was surprised to hear Artemis actually wanted to work with me. I’m not entirely sure what’s changed but I do feel very honored that she is wanting to work with me now.

i think artemis has been calling out to me for quite a while, i was just always very intimidated by her particular energy and power. i thought she may dislike me because of my lack of confidence in my femininity/womanhood, if that makes any sense. it kinda reaffirmed my belief that she may want to work with me when you mentioned she tends to show up to support women/girls who struggle with low self esteem. i think i may have opened communication with her earlier, i heard her name somewhat out of the blue and then felt her presence for a pretty good while- she has such beautiful, strong energy!!! i hope that it was her, it would be such a blessing to work with her :)

I found you because I believe Artemis is reaching out to me. We recently moved to an old farmhouse nestled on a hill and we have little woods that surround us on three sides. We’ve seen deer every so often but, I just figured we’re in nature now so it’s bound to happen. This last week I’ve seen deer very consistently outside my house, again not that odd considering where we live. A few night ago I had a dream that felt way more real than a typical dream. In the dream a Stag had entered my home and was standing in my dining room. It was massive and beautiful, but being a logical person I knew a deer couldn’t stay in my dining room, so I was shooing it out, not threatening with anything, just using a firm voice and motioning with my hands to corral it towards the door. Something distracted me for a moment and when I turned back the stag had transformed into a woman. She told me I had seen through her disguise, but she didn’t seem upset about it, more amused than anything. I woke up before either of us could say more. It stuck with me and I was confused because stag are male deer, so why would it turn into a woman? I am the babiest of witches having only danced on the periphery of the occult. I have stones and some candles and incense and I’ve always felt a connection with the moon and stars - particularly Orion (and while I was vaguely aware of his connection to Artemis, I hadn’t thought about it in a while), but my three favorite constellations are Orion, Taurus (my astrological sign), and the pleiades. I’ve been wanting to get more in touch with my own craft and had even used mint that I grew recently to invite abundance and just enough wealth to be comfortable into my home. I was worried that I had invited something else into my home and that’s what the dream meant. I was also recently drawn to a symbol that includes a crescent moon and drew it on my arm because it really spoke to me. This morning I had decided I would do some research later today while my son was at school to try to figure out what woman could be associated with a stag. I was sitting with my son and watching a show when suddenly a stag appeared in the show as a symbol of Artemis. It was so blatant that I audibly gasped and instantly knew it was her. I want to work with her, so I was researching on tt and here on yt to figure out how. I haven’t been able to find my crystals since the move and don’t have money for new ones at the moment. What can you recommend for someone with very limited resources who wants to invite Artemis into her life?
I just lit the candles on my alter for her, they are all so tall and steady so I think she likes what I put there! In particular, the amethyst tree. Also I think she likes tarragon.
The reason why I’ve decided to try and reach out to Artemis or at least try to honor her is because I believe she is the deity that was protecting me when I was going through a very difficult time when I was 12. I’ve also always felt more connected to archery, the moon, and the natural environment as a whole so I believe that she is a deity that is looking out for me and guiding me.
So glad I found this. Literally a few months ago I saw a tiktok on my fyp saying Artemis wanted to work with me, i just kind of brushed it off and didn't do much abt it. But a few mins ago I saw another one and it said "who is trying to get in touch with you" and the pendillum swung to different letters and I KNEW it was going to say Artemis so here I am.

Just had a huge urge a month ago about reading books about Paganism. I hate reading books, and never finished a book in my life, and I'm VERY agnostic. The book, Path to Paganism grabbed my attention and I cannot stop reading it. One night I had a silly dream about building a black barrier to prevent chickens from being burned by the hot sun reflecting off my white fence. During that dream, it went dark (no image like a light bulb that burned out). Then a strange neutral (not to male, not to female) voice kept on saying Artemis over and over for a good hour it felt like. I responded, "WTF is an Artemis! Screw it, I'll look it up tomorrow". It said "NO!!!" and continued to chant "Artemis Artemis Artemis" for what seemed like a very long time. Drove me crazy!!!! But I was persistent to keep on trying to sleep. Then I woke up as if I took a caffeine pill (a very positive feel-good feeling). The voice clearly stated, " Artemis....I am your God". I looked Artemis up and found that I looked up Archimedes by mistake LOL. When I found her in the google search, I was just floored and excited. Not sure why she called herself a God instead of a Goddess, but I don't care. The point was received and have been super excited and happy since then. I used to be very anxious about my eventual death (almost died twice from extensive pulmonary emboli from a Kickboxing leg injury), but now I feel okay about it like Artemis took away that fear. Still not sure why she picked me, a male, but she'll let me know. Maybe you are right, that I'm not a machoman and very respectful to women. All I can think to honor her for her time in contacting me is to study her history. I don't feel I know how to pray or meditate, but I like the idea of talking to her (in my head) like a friend or sister and make an alter (your's is pretty cool!). There's an eastern cottonwood tree in my backyard I look at everyday because it's so beautiful. Yesterday I noticed a bright red arrow in the trunk that I've never seen before. I felt an instant gut reaction that it was Artemis calling out. I live in the city and there's no reason anyone would be able to go hunting here where I'm at. The dots are connecting. I’m so new to deities. As an exvangelical I have felt drawn to work with a deity but have kept it at arms length because of the religious trauma.
However yesterday I did a guided spirit guide meditation and a goddess stepped forward. She was brunette and when I asked her name Artemis kept coming up (mostly Art) and I’m so embarrassed to say I thought Artemis was a man so I came home (home…🤣that was a brain fart but tells you how deep into the meditation I was…)
I started trying to find any info on goddesses that could have Art in their name. I STILL didn’t realize Artemis was a woman until tonight and when I tell you Im shook. I felt her presence so strong that I opened my eyes a few times thinking someone had walked into the room with me.

I just got back into my craft after many years.... I have been hearing the name Diana, and I haven't had your experience with deer but I have seen the same 4 or 5 in the same place a lot. Moonstone has really called to me as well. I haven't tried to contact Diana directly but I'm gonna do it! What you said about her really hit home for me. So thanks so much for these videos.

I absolutely love Artemis! She’s the very first deity to call to me(and so far the only one I’ve noticed). I have always had such a strange connection to deer, and always saw them as very magical beings like protectors of the forest. I found out they were also my spirit animal. When I finally started my Wicca journey, deer started making themselves much more present.
My favorite encounter with deer so far, was when me and my now ex were leaving a nature park by his old house. There’s a lot of cars at that park coming and going, and deer aren’t seen too often there. A group of about 4 deer started walking in front of my car. One of the does stopped in front of my car, and we had locked eyes for a bit and she bowed her head down to me. Then continued on her way.
Every so often Artemis does send me deer, usually right as my anxiety is getting high. Just to remind me she is here.
Another big thing that made me realize it was her calling out to me. I was on my way to me best friends house at night(aka my mom witch). I tried playing CZcams on my phone to listen to in the car. Nothing would load or play, except a CZcams made playlist. The first two songs were Artemis by Stephen Rezza and a cover of God is a Women.

It is very interesting how you mention her pickyness when she chooses others. I was actually only working with Hestia & Athena at the time,(Still am+Her💚) when she began calling me. I guess I have a lot of divine feminine energy roaming about. But I was seeing countless deer in myriads; both alive in forests and in pictures or symbolism. I couldn’t stop thinking about them & I didn’t know why!Although I did not know this was Artemis at the time-seeing all of these deer is what inspired this current profile pic of a stag AND my screen name!!!

Thank you very much for this video. I really enjoyed it and want to thank you for explaining and suggesting how to worship Artemis. I have been interested in Wicca for quite some time and did some research, but haven't gotten into it fully for some reason. So I am very new to it. Your video is the first I fully watched to get to know more about Artemis because I love this deity and feel drawn to her. I would love to try and contact her, see if she deems me worthy enough to reach out. I have a beautiful statue of her already which I want to use. Maybe I finally can set through and try things with your explanations and suggestions. I need to find some type of mentor to help me get into Wicca for real.
We should remember in Greek mythology Artemis was never associated with the moon. Selene was the moon goddess. Diana her Roman analog is a moon goddess and over time Artemis was rerconned as being a moon goddess because of Diana. We should be careful not to anger Artemis or Selene by conflating the 2.
Another great video!! I think that Artemis is calling out to me. I have been feeling of running in the woods for a very long time. I love and respect deer, bears, wolves, the night cycle, nature, and all animals. I am pure too like her, if you know what I mean. Sorry!!

Hi, I need to share something that just happened to me, it could be a coincidance, but... I'm not really sure, I'd appreciate your guys' thoughts. So I've been interested in working with Artemis, Apollo and possibly Hades for a while now, but I am pretty new to this whole witch thing and I just wanted to learn a bit more first. So yesterday I watched your videos about working with these three deities and I said a quick "prayer" (in my head) basically being like "if any of you can hear me, I'll be looking out for signs". So today, I went to IKEA out of town and I kinda forgot all about that until I got to the home decor section and there I saw this GORGEOUS painting of a deer in a dark forest with a crescent moon right above its head. I think I actually gasped out loud as I made that connection and even though it wasn't exactly cheap, I knew I had to get it. On my way home, I actually bought a white candle and I already have some stones (amethyst & moon stone) at home, so I think I need to set an altar for her now. I actually thought I would do Apollo's altar first, but I think his sister was faster once again and I am here for it. So what do you think, am I just reading too much into this or could it be a sign? Also, I stopped by another shop on my way home as I needed to buy a deodorant and I immediately saw one titled "Golden Moon" that I never noticed before? So of course I got that one too.
EDIT: two days after this, I went to a chateau park in another city and there was literally this huge, beautiful deer. Turns out there are actually some deer living there, but I had no idea prior to my visit, so I don't know if that counts, but... yeah 😳
There have been male attendants for her temple's back in the day. Artemis has been around me I think for a while, but recently made herself really known by having 2 deer jump in front of my path on a trail, I live in a city and the trail just cuts through a small park to get to the metro. Was really cool.

Wow SO i just moved here about a year ago. My connection to her is extremely strong. Shes been reaching out. No sign of deer when I moved here. One night coming home a deer stopped right in front of me. I was driven slow in parking lot. It wasn't one it was an entire family. I got out the car to go inside & the one that stopped in front of my car moments before had walked right up to my lobby door and I was so concerned for them to not get her. I asked the one closest to me to go back to safety not in the parking lot. I looked over n there was the rest of them about 5 or more. The one closest to me was basically about to follow me into the lobby. I was so close that we could have hugged. Just absolutely gorgeous. I maintained the space between us in awe. They stayed for a week or so. There was a couple that pulled up & I asked them if they always seen deers n they said no. This happened about 4 or 5 months ago. I feel like there’s a connection between Goddess Auset and Goddess Bastet too, like both of their energies usually are present with me at or around the same time. It also probably has to do with the fact that during my own research for Goddess Auset I found interesting during the timeline of her temples getting shut down Diana’s (or Artemis’ if you prefer) still physically stood and then I got the telepathic image in my mind 👁️🗨️ of devotees of Auset[Goddess Isis] using Artemis temple to still praise Auset undercover, the same way initiates of hoodoo and voodoo syncretized their African deities to Christian/Catholic images of worship in order to still worship their own traditions without persecution.
I have always liked the goddessess more than the gods in Greek mythology and particularly Άρτεμις(Ártemis in Greek) and Αθήνα(Athína in Greek). The Greek goddesses have always just seemed more level headed to me.
When you mentioned having a dream about her I suddenly remembered that I had a similar dream a few months ago. I was walking through a wooded area and came across a bow made out of a large antler just propped against a tree. After I woke up from it I wondered what it meant but I guess I know now haha. Also, I feel very connected to deer. I see deer nearly every single day, especially at night, when going through my local state park on my bike. I even have a deer antler tattoo to remember that park when I eventually move away. Guess this is my sign to start working with Artemis.

I wonder if she is for new ppl , I'm a generation solitary pratictioner and when I first started out about 25 years ago, she was the first to work with me , after losing a bit of faith and becoming bigger inside I left and stopped practising , for about 3-4 years , then started again six months ago ( I really felt like I was missing something deep within me and knew I needed to come back) and again this past fortnight I know she is calling again , visions of full moons , the letter a - animals in the woods near where I live come out to look, oh I kept finding colourful feathers then 2 guinea fowls , ( which must of been someone's excaped pets) screamed at me on the fourth or fifth day they was absolutely screaming at me , I was like , yes mam, I hear you , lol - extremely good video xxx
