as a kurtis conner fan, when i clicked on this i was scared because when most people reply to his videos it isnt very respectful. but personally you did an amazing job at responding in a mature way and discussing the topic. if kurtis saw this, he would have absolutely no problems and would frankly agree with you. great video!!!

as a kurtis conner fan, i must say i was a bit disappointed when he mentioned "writing fanfic" as being something way too weird. fanfic is awesome!! it's a great creative outlet!! and there are crazy ppl who write fanfic, as there are crazy ppl anywhere else. anyways, i agree adults shouldn't be shamed for their hobbies, i just wish ppl had a bit more of critical thinking before consuming things (but then that's a huge argument that goes very far and it doesn't fit a youtube comment). thank you for being respectful, you made a really good job with your response!

First off I want to say this is a great video and I agree with pretty much everything you said. I’m all for the “weirder” hobbies and interests being normalized, however I wanted to kind of explain my perspective on being a potter head right now. As a trans person right now it is very frustrating to see people celebrating the work and spending money on J.K. When she uses that money and influence to bring us down. As a kid I loved Harry Potter, I remember looking forward to Fridays when my mom would read me and my sister the Harry Potter books as a kid. Which ended up making it that much more heartbreaking when I found out that the same person that created that world hates me for existing. Now I want to make it clear I don’t mean to say that I dislike you or people who love Harry Potter I just figured I would share my side of the story. I know you didn’t address this in the video so I apologize if this is out of place. Anyways, great video!
No worries, I completely get where you are coming from and definitely respect your point of view. It saddens me to know that so many have been hurt by the situation you are referring to. I just hope you know that while it may be difficult to separate us who still decide to consume the content from the creator I speak for many when I say that I hope to never bring anyone down and that I hope my channel can be a safe place for everyone. It's a difficult place to be for both those who have decided to stop consuming the content and for those who continue to do so. I hope we can all find a common ground where we can all support and respect each other no matter what way we sway. Thank you for watching 😊

Great video! I'm a kurtis fan and a kpop fan, my whole room is dedicated to kpop but I have comfort knowing Kurtis also collects something like pokemon and digimon cards. I think his video was more to point out the weirder parts but overall I think he respects different interests as long as they don't hurt anyone and I think he's shown that many times before I just take his video as what it is, commentary. everything he talks abt he's going to find something funny or weird to talk about even his own interests. However, I completely understand that it might seem too harsh to a lot of people and that's definitely valid. I honestly believe he'd appreciate this video and keep it in mind for future videos! one thing I will say is I love how he brings a self pro-claimed fan of disney or Harry potter and just listens to them no judgement. Idk ig it's that commentary respect balance.
