I've wanted Mound Builder for the longest. The Etowah Indian Mounds are 20 miles from my house in N Ga. Also I've visited the Cahokia Mounds near St Louis. I recommend it.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on different solitaire games. It is always interesting to hear other's inputs. I generally prefer soloing 2 player games. Where I don't play to win, I play to see what happens. While I very much enjoy gaming with my friends, I'm lucky to get 2 or 3 games a month in, whereas being retired, I have lots more opportunities to play. Aside from mere opportunities, I prefer solo gaming because it doesn't involve travel or hosting. I can play whenever I find the time to slip into my den for awhile. I like being able to ty out different strategies. Victory is a result, not an objective. Finally, thanks for your nice comments on my Antietam video. I have seen your videos before, and I find them to be time well spent.

Was that one take and unedited? I think I noticed you glance down at notes very occasionally but pretty much unscripted too. Extremely impressive to avoid any pauses or verbal ticks. You didn’t mention either of my favourites Skies Above Britain or RAF 1940 Battle of Britain. They are very different from the track system. The Battle of Henderson Field: Guadalcanal is both beautiful and a great game. I play tested it and really enjoyed replaying it again and again.
No edits. We don't edit anything. I had a list of games that I printed out and had it taped to my dashboard and was glancing down to get my thoughts straight. I have worked hard in my professional career on public speaking and have eliminated most dead space, erms, umms and ahhs from my speech. It still happens occasionally. Thanks for noticing!
My #1 recommendation is Into the Breach. One-player, turn-based tactical game. Computerized, but the design is like a board game. It's free on the Netflix app, and on PC and Nintendo Switch. What makes it unique is that the enemies move and announce their planned attacks, and then you move and attack BEFORE the enemy attacks resolve. Every turn you have to figure out how to redirect the enemy attacks to (hopefully) nullify or minimize them. You are usually outnumbered, so you are racking your brain to figure out how to kill two birds with one stone. Highly replayable. One downside (at least with the version I played) is that the game didn't hold my hand in the beginning. I had to figure out effective strategies through trial and error. But it was great fun.
Have you guys considered posting some of your content as podcasts? I don't think I'm alone in saying that I will often start a video and listen to it with headphones on while I do other chores (not that I don't like lookin' at you guys lol). I don't know what the effort required would be to do that and maybe the juice isn't worth the squeeze, but if I could download a bunch of these on say Spotify and have them on my phone when I'm driving or out for a run, I'd probably be able to listen more.
The next two years WBC and GenCon fall on the same dates instead of them being one week apart. There goes my US gaming trip down the drain. So I'd rather be solo gaming.

I love anything Greg Smith and Howard Thompson design. Hermann Luttman has great solo games too. Hours of fun.
