- I recently did a video on 3 of my mini DV camcorders and couldn't find the 4th one. Well here it is.I was not my usual efficient self in recording this one(lol) so I signed off then realised I hadn't shown you the battery charger. So added that at the end.I have now ordered a fresh more powerful battery to go with this camera. Please comment if you have had experience with this camera and know how to plug mains power into it.Thanks for watching .Please note I sold this camera at the Adelaide Annual Camera Market on 2/10/23.
I think you Cam connect the AC doc form the loading station to the thing you connect to the bottom of the camera
Thanks. I'll look into it.
How to output DV vdieo to computer from 1394?
Hi Geoff, can you tell me what battery you purchased? I just found this camera at a trash and treasure market and it is missing the battery.
Hi Katie. I don't know what country you are in but I bought it from The battery Doctor in NSW.It is a panasonic VWVBD1E. It costed $45 to be sent to South Australia. The battery Doctor,

I am not quite sure of your question Katherine. Perhaps if you can be clearer on that then I will find the camera tomorrow and perhaps give you an answer. It is late at night here. Thanks Geoff
you’ve been a real big hlep! thank you 🤍🤍
Thanks. I am glad you found this helpful. Geoff
do you know if there is a fisheye for this camera?
Hi Henry. I don't ever recall seeing fisheyes for any of these cameras but there may be adpators or you could perhaps make ypur own. Maybe try a"front door" fisheye camera used to view who's there.Or some of the attachments for mobile phones.
@@pembridgehouse thank you Geoff 👍
@@pembridgehouse is there anyway of finding out the thread size for the camera?
@@henr4baile9 Hi Henry. I found out that the front of the lens does not have a filter but it screws off. I measured it and it looks about a 30mm thread. So there may be a filter that screws on to it.cheers. Geoff
@@pembridgehouse thank you geoff :)
Where would you buy tapes?
You would have to source them online. I got some about a year ago from a hifi store as they still had some new stock that were not on sale anymore.
You need a cable for the camera
The camera will work without battery
Send your email I will send you a picture of the charging wire
