Can't get enough ! Thank you Avishai for the wonderful tune................From an obsessed fan.
Dreaming while listening. And still dreaming when listening is over...
this drummer is incredible!
All of them are incredible and more.
This brings tears to my eyes
That jazz which keeps Your from the world, but brings You in the present moment. Thanks Avishai
These are the best present musicians : what a trio ! creativity, special rhythms, fabulous pianist who listen to Cohen and follows him ! Idem for the young drummer. I could listen to them the whole day ! ! BRAVO ! ! (from Nicolas Hanlet)
I'm talking about Nitai. He is Unbelievable!
the three musketeers of Jazz!
Look at Ofri Nehemya, so young and so talented! Amazing!
Awesome!!! Perfect balance between emotional and intellectual. And Ophir Nehemiah (drums) is great!!!
well said mate, and I agree totally
dreaming while listening this masterpiece
Amazing performance
Grazie a tutti voi musicisti❤️
Bravo Ofri !!!
Incredibly beautiful and ever so interesting with the unusual time signature/rhythmic patterns.
I could listen to this all day long.
What is the time signature :D?
Ashraf Rezk good question :)
I believe it's in 13/16, actually!
GrixisLord You're right!
I bought the sheet music today and Avishai indeed wrote it there as 13/8, but he also wrote the tempo to be 126, which doesn't makes sense. If you want it to play at the right tempo as 13/8 the bpm needs to be 252 (double the tempo). however, at 13/16 it's indeed 126 bpm, so Avishai made a mistake - he needs to chance either time signature or either the tempo.
Wow they freaking killed it
Bravo !!
still his best drummer, after all these years. Much more musical and subtle.
Mark Guiliana and Ziv Ravitz were not bad either...
@@AnDoKo93 But Daniel Dor's drum solo on seven seas (Nancy Jazz pulsations) is also amazing.
@@AnDoKo93 Has Avishai played with Ziv?

I wish I could click on Like 1000 times in a shot =)
Ofri Nehemya has the goods-touch and ear like Amir Bresler combined with a progressive, explosive sensibility similar to Mark Guiliana.
super
Where the live version of this song with the vocals on? It has dissapeared
Seen in TV a song a bout a little sad boy that has to learn that the best thing in the word is to learn to love and be loved back, something like that , with Avishai singing, any body know the name or was live ?
Hi Tamara,
I think you mean the song "Nature Boy" originally by Nat King Cole from 1948 and written by Eden Ahbez which is a truly powerful song: "The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return" and which was covered quite a lot, there's a 4k version with Avishai you can look up here on CZcams where he's performing live with the INSO-Lviv Orchestra... All the best, your Avishai Cohen Music Team
Yes, I found it eventually, but the way Avishai sings it is the ultimate experience
Think I'm gonna go to Israel meet him... 😄
Can someone please tell me the name of the tune that Nitai quotes at 6:40? I know it's a classic, but I can't put me finger on what it is. Thanks!
It isn’t a tune, it’s just a pattern based on the circle of fifths moving by intervals of fourths
casual, nice bit of mess. I like it -
😉♦️💐🌻

Avishai: Ey no me opaque Shai
Shai: pa que me invitan si saben cómo me pongo
What tempo is it ? 9/8
Great, i know a great Abraham Cohen from Georgetown Fire Company, but it's much better.
What is said by instru mentos .. the quantums and the switches.. that each thing has dialogue infos and en lang associated script.; The piddly meandering hopes and the gushing mao-n'ain of faith.; The dai/?dao that controls the energies of the truths and the lies in the verses -at- those socio political in their ways.. the Ions.; Blessed truth and light.. Random..
Jong ,maar volwassen in musiceren.
Nog iets te snel ,maar inmiddels 🎉😊
Great stuff! The drummer is terrific but definitely not the best this group's had. Still great though!
+TomKPercussion Well considering that he was 17 years old when this was recorded, I'd say he has a rather bright future to look forward to.
+TomKPercussion I really think he and Amir Bresler might be the best two drummers he's played with his trio format in the last 3-4 years, and considering he started playing with avishai at young age… Every drummer he plays with has his own way to interpret his tunes on drums, and ofri has a really nice taste playing
+TomKPercussion Dor and Bresler are amazing players as well. But, as far as Cohen's ensembles and trios, I have a soft spot for Guiliana. The man is simply a remarkable player and always pushing the envelope further.
Great player, but I do think it is tough to top the shai/guiliana trio lineup. It's been a while now, but damn they were incredible
