The fact that they MIGHT be the most powerful empire in the universe and yet a small standing army is clearly inspired by the fact that the army of the British empire was always pretty small and usually (other than in the world wars) a volunteer force, and most of the defences were carried out by the Navy. The army had been, on a technical level, one of the best trained (other than in a few heroes like the interwar years) but was too small.
Unrealistic, considering that britain is already irrelevant today and will most likely become an outright U.S. colony.

The Alien/Predator Future Universe is so unique, the Alternate History/Future potential is Incredible

Im not exactly sure, im guessing some countries never really left earth. But i would suppose most of these European countries would have either buddied up with the 3WE or the UPP
This is the only universe I can think of where the galaxy is colonized but humanity isn't United

You did a really great job on this video pal. It's well thought out and reasonably clear. If I may make one criticism, the background music is a little loud and it can be a little hard to hear you, particularly during the long high notes.

Yep, above all else when the xenomorphs come to the table the others are done for!
You know when it comes to the UK this is pretty damn accurate, our military is quite small and sometimes struggles to keep everything guarded however it's quality over quantity and it's pretty damn good.
Germany was a better indicator of this they were the most efficient in all aspects and outnumbered in every fight

@@raidermaxx2324 I have heard that whilst Canberra is the 'official' capital of Australia, like in the USA, the 'real' capital is another city. Sydney, is it. In the USA, the unofficial capital in New York.
Yeah it’s the official capital, it is the place where most of the heads of state and governmental bodies are located. Sydney is big in terms of tourism and popular by name but it’s not much more than a standard city

Primarily this stuff is found in Alien the RPG.
I'm playing through Fireteam Elite right now, and in Intel Log 2 of 'The Only Way to be Sure' they say, "News from the core says negotiations with the Three World Empire are going well, I mean, there'll be treaties tying us together as the "United Systems". The Proggies ain't gonna like that". Is there anything in the RPG that explains this merging of the UA and TWE? We obviously know it happens as by the time of Resurrection the United Systems do exist.
The RPG is leading up to that stuff currently as well as what's happening in the current novels. we are moving through the 2180s into the 2190s where all this stuff becomes relate and begins to unfold

Technically there was three UNs the 3WE had it's member states, the UA had its own members aswell and I would imagine if the UPP was like the Soviet Union then yes technically it would have member states aswell. A fourth one would also be the independent colonies of the core world's but they're under the protection of the 3WE

I think ill stick with the UPP... just like in Gears of War the UIR is way more attractive than the CoG counterpart.
Sorry but the three world empire is a nation-state as stated the the free league publishing alien rpg core rule book page 11 it say "while dominated by the United americas, the frontier is an area intersected by several nation-states" then when it goes into detail on the three world empire it starts with "consisting of the former United Kingdom, Japan, and several developing countries" please note the use of the word "former" I was not and never was a federation
The three world empire is a federation it says so in the RPG and makes it clear the extent of their control over on the middle heavens map!
@@ProjectACHERON the rpg make it clear that is ia a nation-state and the UK and Japan are no longer sovereign nations please read page 11 of the rpg make it very clear it's not a federation it more akin to how Scotland is not a nation-state but it is a part of the UK which is or a state of the USA is not a nation-state but a part of the USA now with the map I don't know what you trying to say as I know it tells me what they control but as I've said the rpg make it clear that it is a nation-state not a federation
@@ProjectACHERON if you also read page 222 of the rpg is says "the major countries of the world soon merged to form larger nations" so again the rpg makes it quite clear that it is a nation not a federation with the use of the word "merged"
