If you die too many times at ANY point at the last level including losing to Ieyasu, you have to START THE WHOLE LAST STAGE ALL OVER AGAIN!!!!!! You have to fight another boss BEFORE HIM! The last level is HARD!
The hilarious part is that, NOTHING about all those overly advanced technology is explained in the game, nor the instruction booklet and arcade adv. stuff! and that is still awesome
Can anyone read the Japanese text? I don't even know the names of the playable characters. Though I bet the second boss is Date Masamune. It's the crescent headpiece that makes me guess.
Playable characters are Yukimura Sanada, Saiga Magoichi and Maeda Keiji Bosses are Takatora Todo, Date Masamune, Ii Naomasa, Honda Tadakatsu and Ieyasu Tokugawa
You have to fight another boss before him. Die on that fight too many times and it's back to the beginning of the last level again. And yes you have to beat the game twice. You have to fight the bosses twice
I hate how the final level makes you start back from the beginning upon using a continue. Deltazeal/GStream 2020 is guilty of the same thing, pulling a Psikyo like that. Other than that, they’re pretty good games.

Second boss is Masamune. Third is Ii Naomasa. Fourth is Honda Tadakatsu. The final boss is Ieyasu Tokugawa.
